The Retailer calendar lists the release of DoD as Monday, November 12.

Star Wars minis "Force Unleashed" and the Transformers set gets the Friday slot, November 9.

Serious pile-up in the release schedule.

Worldwide D&D day is the previous weekend of Saturday, November 3.  Which is the release date for Maplestory TCG - what is that?

Really looking forward to seeing the next set.  Too bad it is soo far away.

Monday? How strange! They usually release the set on first Friday of the proper month. Hmmm! Sounds like business policy?

Jeez. The newest set has not even been released yet and people are already acting like it's been out for a year.

Four months is the best spacing for sets. It's really hard to make sets every three months and keep quality up, or even at the level it is now if you are a pessimistic type.

4 sets in the first year and 3 per year since then seems like a winner. If they moved to 4 sets per year some people would be lost due to cost.

I know I'd have to get far less were there an additional set each year.

Also figure that Magic prints only three sets a year (ignoring the odd base set). Granted, you can't use Magic cards to double in your D&D games.

That is wierd to have that much out at a time. 9 days and like 6 releases.

I like 3/year releases, it's easier to finance that way.

Des of Des releases on November 2, 2007.

I caught a glimpse of the Maple Story card game a few weeks ago. Looks neat.

Thanks for letting us know Lidda.  November 2 really makes sense, given that Worldwide D&D day is on November 3.

i play maplestory online and it is fun.  I dont see what a TCG would do seeing as Maple Story is a MMORPG.  It just doesnt translate well.  Anyway its nice to see the release date for DoD.
