Not sure how much of this is already known...

The game day mini is Spined Devil with D&DC62 on the base, but the stat card is the interesting thing - a DDM2.0 stat card and 4th Ed Preview stats on the back.

I have photos but not sure if I should post them given rules on preview stuff etc....

2) how the heck do you tell it's faction or whatever they are calling it now...?

Maybe the Blue and Purple bars indicate faction.  Seems like they have symbols attached (for the color blind).

Wow, looks like 17 points with AC 21 and 50 HP?  !!!  DR5, Immune Fire, Poison, too. 

Is the purple card the new format for DDM'08?

Edit:  Now, with the larger, clearer picture up, I see that it is 27 points.

I'd guess so, they wouldn't do a design that well layed out, just for a few Promos.

At 27 points you do also get Stench, which would combo strongly with all the DC check abilities in LE.
If ddm-1 was going to last after January, this creature might be in Tier-1.
It's odd that the ddm-2 stats have Flight & the ddm-1 doesn't.

Pit Fiend's got a little buddy. Extra damage, and "raises" the fireball DCs by 2 for living critters - only weirdness is that it can't fly!

So, to clean up the rpg side, they just took all of it's spells and special abilities away....Meh

We do see that Bonuses for ability scores have gotten higher.
I don't really care for the new rounded look of the cards....it seems more futuristic as opposed to fantasy to my eye for some reason.

Am I the only one that fount the damage line a bit disorienting on the skirmish card? I think the defense and AC thing is going to create some small bit of confusion too.

What a LAME giveaway mini. Of all the creature types, it's a devil/demon thing. Blech.

Is anyone else noticing that the costs are different for 1.0 and 2.0? I remember Shoe saying that they were going to use the same costs for all the minis that were getting updated. Granted this was before the announcement that everything was going to be redone eventually. But this Spined Devil is in Deserts of Desolation, so should have been in the plans to update anyhow.
I mean, I don't really care if the costs change or not, but it doesn't fill me with confidence that the first example of a redone mini is done way differently than they said.

Well, when Shoe made that comment, it was within the past month. This set was designed months ago. Therefore, Shoe's comment likely affects stat cards they hadn't converted before he made that comment.

Those ability stats are appearing much different. They take the focus on the bonus instead of on the stat itself. And the power creep is raising, so that 15 gives you a +5 instead of a +3. Lots of mysterious stuff on the card, too.

SCHW3T!  and nice that we saw a DDM 2 preview.  stat card took me a minute to figure out, but i can get used to it.

Not the only one, I'm pretty sure its meele +11 on your die roll vs. the enemies AC for 15 damage. Suppoedly it will be pretty intuitive after a few minutes of play.

I like devils, but not this mini in particular - it's like the barbed devil's ugly kid sister...

The 4th edition preview is as confusing as it is interesting... Let the speculation begin! :)

Well from what I can see, they have done away with having to worry about negative stats on the 4e stat block. It looks like it takes a base miniumum of a 4 on any stat, a 6 would be +1 8 +2 and so on up which is why the 19 is showing as +7. Doing away with the negative is a good thing in my opinion. I am assuming the bloodied stat number is indicative of how a creature reacts or does not have their full strength, it will be interesting to see how that is incorporated.
