I wish I could help you send out the others, but I haven`t been

history should handle this.

My local Post Office acted sort of "If you brought packages here...they most definetely were shipped" I have several reasons not to believe them, but there is no way I can prove anything. Plus, with the threat of legal action against me...do I have a choice? All I know is this is the best I can do.

Mayday: I'm not looking to work out single trades or who should get what from this list. I'm just trying to see if my plan of sending it to a trust worthy and respectable member of maxminis is agreeable to those I traded with, past that it would be in that users and their hands on those decisions.

My position is, regardless of what happened, I want to make this right. A refresher of the exact deal would be helpful...I guess I got your trade confused with my trade with Yukon (involving a Luke, Jedi)...sorry about that...let me know and I'll see what I can put on the list that was involved.

Well as I said, this is what I have available (except what will be included once Alan gets back with me) and I'll ship it to one trust worthy person insured with DC...past that I don't really want anything to do with it, those I have traded with can work out who gets what.

This is getting strange... But, there surely is minis on your list that I'd love to have, but it surely is a strange way to handle it. But having some of those would settle things for me.

Any minis from The following list I'm interested in:
1x Death Knight
2x Large Blue Dragon
1x Yuan Ti Abomination
1x Drow Cleric of Lolth
2x Ogre (WHICH OGRE?)

1x Mace Windu
1x Mace Windu, Jedi Master (not both mace's!)
1x Emperor Palpatine, Sith Lord

DCOL is worth al least one VR, which I traded two.

But, as the mails take a week to travel here I'm still waiting. -Lance-, I really would like to know the sending date.

On 4/18 I received an e-mail from Lance with an offer to resolve our trade. His offer was to send me back the Wampa, Jabba, Mara Jade, Greedo and 12 stormtroopers I sent to him the first week of April. I told him as long as I received a *VALID* DC by Wednesday, he could just keep the stormtroopers if he would send the others back to me. I think this is more than fair and he agreed. I also said that as soon as I received the package, I would edit and remove any posts I made regarding our original arrangement.

I see this as a step in the right direction. Now I just wait and watch.

There have been postal problems for other traders on this site where their packages have been stolen by the postal employees. Regardless of that, according to -lance- from what he has described. When he shipped said packages he just put stamps on the packages, gave them to the postal employee and left.
From this I would assume there is a slight(maybe a 5 to 10%) possibility that said packages might have been shipped 4th class and still be in transit. It would have been up to the postal employee(s) and -lance- to make sure that the 1st class stamp was on the package.
Do they really look at the stamps when processing each package? I would think that they are looking for the 'red stamp'.





A disclaimer: As stated in my ref thread I do have a completed trade with -lance-. That is an factual account of my dealings with him and should not be taken as a position with regards to the current issues between -Lance- and other traders. I will remain neutral what ever the outcome.

I also considered the possibility of the packages being sent via a slower rate because of the "stamp and drop" practice.

And, to clarify why Lance has me listed as a reference, I did complete one trade with him, but our second trade is still unresolved.

I am a bit woriied about my trade with -Lance- after seeing his choice of postage practices.

It is impossible for you to have just stuck some stamps to my parcel and dropped it at the PO, because in my situation you would have had to fill out a Customs declaration, and would've had to show Identification at the time of postage, not only that, but you would've had to declare the parcel for Airmail.

I am seriously starting to worry now.

I traded my Ogre and some spell templates for Lance's Troll. I have not received the Troll yet. I would like to get my Ogre mailed back to me. Lance can keep the spell templates.

If I do get your figures, I will contact you to see about splitting all the figures up fairly (you may want your beholder back or you may want the troll back, I don't know) and sending them to you.

-Lance- has contacted me about settling the trade. If he comes through with the settlement, I will consider the matter closed and accept his account of events and will give him due credit for making good out of a bad situation.

I sincerely hope his end of the trade does show up so I can contact him and we can try to make our original trade work as best as possible for the both of us.

Update: My mother has to go in for eye surgery tomorrow and I'm going to have to stay around the house to help her out for the next few days, at the moment the following boxes will be shipped by Wed...the rest will be delayed until Friday.

Once I ship stuff out let me know when it gets there so I can tally up a bill for Gaddszooks who stated who would reimburse me. (I think he said this, believing in the back of his mind that I wouldn't bother compensating those I traded with) At the moment we're looking at 11+ packages some insured and all with DC that he gets to foot the bill for.

Don't forget to supply the DC, I am sure everyone would like that.
