Put Fly8 with mephling pyromancer, via couatl, and you have a faster heater.

On the right map, Move 4 can be overcome and Lawful Good does fairly well at ensuring your map is chosen via high Commander Ratings. A decent Tile Grabber can allow solid move 4s the time they need to get into position and make the opponent "come to them". If the piece is good enough that is. I all I can say is:
"My god, that can even beat a virtuous charger this dwarf will probably change the meta of CG"
Anyway, awesome if I played LG, terrible for all other factions, I hate when LG gets good units, that is beacuse this a LG heavy meta, and those high ACs just kill my low CG attack bonuses.

To give him F8, your 42-point figure just became a 132-point figure and there's no commander rating or second hitter yet. Mount rules may change that, but line him up 10 spaces away from a Duergar Champion one-on-one and see who wins much more often than not. Hint: It's not the Champion of Dol Dorn. He is a solid figure, but Speed 4 may be his demise. I really like him otherwise. | The only saving grace here is that he's a Dorf, so Grant Dorfs Move Action applies. That might give him the wee extra bit of mobility he needs.
Still - look at the Elf Dragonkith. The thing is a GREAT hitter, but essentially unplayable thanks to his speed. :-P

The Dwarf takes off few points of AC and some nice abilities (namely cleave) while spending a few more points for a bunch more hp and better attacks. That extra attack is what would make this better than the Dragonkith especially when considering the blessing usually helps where it is needed the most. Unfortunately I think that speed 4 will still keep it out of top constructed warbands, the BPMarshal may overcome that to some degree but the same could be said about Storm bringing the Dragonkith over to CG and giving it flight. | | | | |

I think it will be 122 points, with an awesome cfx, and you can put in a second CDD and a CoO, so you have two hard hitters with fly 8, a cmdr-rating 5 and some great buffoptions on them... | | | |

| Makes me wanna play him with the the Dwarven Defender - just for the ultimate "come and get it" warband. Toss in a cheap spellcaster and an arcane ballista for extra fun.
In Sealed this guy's gonna be interesting, particularly with the hobgoblin marshall, but I'm not convinced on compedative constructed. In kill 'em all games, he's gonna be brutal though. | | Call me: W.N. Gobo!

| Seems very good. If you play a chaotic warband and use his feat of strength, he's hitting harder than Tordek. Another great dwarf. Now with the release of the Guard of Mithril Hall, I fully expect the King of Mithril Hall in one of the two next sets to add yet another great dwarf to skirmish. | | | Champion of Regis | |
