Noticing that the sculpts between the bronze and the red dragons were very similar, a did a repaint of a bronze to a red dragon, what do you think?

Oops, yes med. copper dragon, lol. A bit cheaper than the Red Wyrmling...it works for the gaming sessions. Theres something about seeing the ole red dragon plopped down on the map, that strikes fear in the players hearts. lol...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is a Copper as well, but that doesn't make it any less of an awesome mini.

Nevertheless, shouldn't this thread be in the Crafter's Corner section of the site?

That is actually quite impressive, dude. I'm particularly pleased that you haven't butchered the base. You know how some people like to put grass and crap all over it? Well done! I'd go as far to say it's even a lot better than the official repaint of the m.copper dragon.

I don't like putting grass and other things on the bases either.  When someone does that, the mini doesn't flow with the rest as well.  I prefer having a consistent black base on all.

Though for me it would be cheaper just to buy the GoL Red Wyrmling as opposed to taking painting lessons, getting the materials & taking the time to paint!

Now there's a repaint that makes sense to me. Taking advantage of an Uncommon to take the place of a rare is a great idea and what I nice fit it makes! Well done! If I ever do get bored enough to start repainting some of my minis I'll be sure to remember this one.

Yeah... I hear yah. Sure, some of them look alright and thats fine but when you're on a snow swept tundra and your minis are getting around with a lush grassy base... doesn't work for me.
