Just wondering if there are any details of the Dreamblade 1K on the 2nd. I am interested in travelling up but need to know start time, finish time (estimated), cost of entry/dragonmeet etc.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I would like to know the details as well. There has been nothing on the Dragonmeet website about the event at all and the phone number leads to me some marketing company....

There is a distinct lack of official information.

With that said however, as I understand it the judges logic on this event is as follows:

Given the expected turn out and the shows timetable I cannot see starting later than 11am [to allow people to actually get into the show and find the event after the 10 am show start] with a finish to 6 Swiss rounds around 4pm and the final finshing by 6pm [Dragonmeet's official close].

Obviously if we get more than 32 and can find space for them that could push the end of Swiss back another hour.

NOTES

This is a REL 3 event.

Players are responsible for bringing the following items to the tournament: 1 Dreamblade Battle Map, 1 standard six-sided die, at least 8 Dreamblade Battle Dice, pen and paper to track Conquest Points.

Players are responsible for knowing all DCI rules.

Participation goodies, which I am told have already been packed and shipped to Dragonmeet.

Threshold Rewards
100 pts 1 Die
250 pts 2 Dice
500 Points 4 Base Markers

Just spoken to Angus and it is going to be on the stage in the trade hall, so if folk can get there to register straight after registering at the front desk which opens at 10am. So it should start at 11am.

Nope, no dreamblade rewards at dragonmeet. The judge did say "WotC-UK" would post them to the players. But not sure how official that was.
I have been to all the UK-1K's except Edinburgh And there were non of the rewards at any of them.

Also no sign of the cash prizes yet. And the Manchester-1K was 8 weeks ago.

Neither is the judge in question [me] sure how official it was now.

It, like prize money, is as far as I know in Lee Singleton's hands. Who had assured me, on the Tuesday before the show, that the Dreamblade Rewards had already been shipped to Dragonmeet.

It would appear the money should be going out shortly which is very good for a gaming organisation. Also the player rewards should be going out shortly but with Christmas post it might not be for a week or two.

Are the Player Rewards going to only those that attended Dragonmeet or to the previous 1Ks as well?

I believe all events, though I didnt directly ask that question, so best not to quote me there.

Presumably WotC-UK could go through the list of attendees/winners and mail everything in one package per winner.
If so, I must remember to carefully search any package full of dice for a $900 check...

When will you have the Chryrosetic plague (pre)release? You normally have them the weekend after release which would be the 21st Sunday??
