LOCATION-T

POPULATION- POPULATION: 88% various (prisoners) 12% war troll, 1 sadistic warden

Mining tools, Chains, etc

--Exports--
Various types of valuable ore are the main export. Also, it is well known throughout the world that the "Krikes" deal in slave trade.

ALLIANCES- There are few nations who do not have some sort of trade dealings with Daekuma. Many nations use the ore mined there to beef up their military and also, alliances are made, in case any nation leaders ever find themselves on a boat making its way out to the island.

KNOWN ENEMIES-
To be determined...

ADVENTURING- If your adventuring party is ever unlucky enough to find themselves in chains rowing out to the island, they will be in for quite an adventure.

The Prison mines of Daekuma
CLIMATE: Miserably hot, hotter still in the mines.

SUMMARY: Daekuma is a place who's mere mention will cause even the most hardened mercenaries to look up from their ale uneasily.

Rumor has that only the abyss rivals the horrors and cruelty known on this hot cruel island, and that the prison is never overcrowded due to the large number of fatalities in the mines (and other less talked about practices).

The prison is run by a black robed wizard named Daedolus (Day-dul-lus), who serves as warden to the installation and employs a staff of war troll prison guards, who work in exchange for a percentage of the wealth generated from the mines and also a steady supply of slaves which they both sell and trade at a high price.

Daekuma is a prison to which people sometimes go for minor infractions of the law. Most of the sentenceing is political, and many on the island have been unjustly prisoned.

ESCAPING FROM DAEKUMA
(A Guide for Adventurers)

The coast= The waters from the coast out to 100 feet out are a thick, black, oily gel that hampers swimming and rowing (swim DC 18 ) . The waters are also toxic to living things (and if ingested cause cause 1d4 Con damage DC 15 save). A wicked barbed reef of blood crystals surrounds the in all areas, except the slave ports.

The Ore= The ore mined from the island causes a permanent (and non dispelable antimagic/antipsionics field) in all directions out from the island for 2 miles.
