Every Friday afternoon: RPGA D&D session. (DM) Every second Friday evening: Age of Worms D&D session (DM) Every second Friday evening: Mutants and Masterminds 2e (player) Three out of four Sunday afternoons: Greyhawk D&D session (DM)
The other Sunday afternoon is spent playing boardgames (including DDM. Sometimes).
How about you?

| I'm 29 and sadly my gaming group and I have not managed anything consistent (D&D wise) for about a year. We play various board/card/video games at least every other week and usually cram in some sort of D&D session at least once a month. I'm almost always the DM. We've recently added DDM into the board/card/video game mixture as well.

| Howdy, I'm Russ, I'm 20 and I play too many games.
I DM a D&D (FR/Undermountain) campaign as often as the the whole group can get together.
I play Neverwinter Nights when I should be studying, sleeping, or generally anything other than playing computer games.
I play at least two DDM matches a week via Vassal for the Eternal Campaign here at maxminis, and often play another casual game on Vassal per week.
I play at least one in-person DDM game a month with friends.
Also, my D&D group recently decided to get back into Heroquest, which we will start sooner or later.

My friends and I alternate between two campaigns. One is FR and I am the DM (currently 6th level party), the other one is D20 Future where I am a player(4th level party). We've got a third campaign on hold for the moment, which is a slightly higher level FR campaign (15th level).

| Greetings I'm Patrick. I'm a 28 year old Gamer and HPL Fanboy.
Right now I'm a little RPG starved... and the yellow cast to my eyes shows this clearly. Right now I compensate by playing Star Wars Minatures about once a week. I tend to collect gaming books and minatures of all shapes and stripes, now that I'm a little more career oriented I've moved towards the pre-painted varity.
Currently I'm perpetually working on the following games to be eventually run on one of my days off...[:(]
Call of Cthulhu Dreamlands game - A dark version of Narnia realy, with the players being pre-adolescent children trapped in the dark land of Nod.
Adventure - Modified version of the White Wolf Pulp era game. Did I mention I love the Pulp Era? [)] An updated version using some of the mechanics from the Exalted setting/system. This game takes place during the very begining of WWII, with the primary antagonists being Cthonic horrors and their Ahnenerbe puppets.
When I'm not playing with "little men" as my family calls them. I'm either re-reading an HPL or another 20's-30's pulp Author, picking up a new usefull skill (like swordsmithing), posting on Maxminis or drinking some very nice beer. Right now I'm doing the latter two. That and thinking how cool the Warduke figure is.*

| Hi. My name is Bert. I mean Paul. Do you know Tyler? I am 33 this year. I play (DM) an long term RPG campign twice a week, on a sunday for about 4-5 hours followd by food, then a multiplayer skirmish game. I play (DM) an ad-hoc game once a fornight on a friday or saturday night that goes until it finnishes late, that I am making heavily mini based. I play DDM or less often SWMB once or twice during the week.
Then there is other sorts of games. My daughter is four, so she can be a tad intensive timewise, but she does like playing cards, board games, and we use the DDM grid & pieces to play 'races' with.
I am a gameaholic. [:D]

| Hey! I don't have a problem. OK? My wife just made me come to this meeting....
Yea yea, my Name is Pat... blah blah
OK, so what, I have an RPG group that tries to meet every Wednesday. Yea, I have another group (Wizards of the Seacoast) that gets together once a month to play board games, and mini games. But they are just playtesters, helping me explore all the games I'm supposed to represent for WotC as a Delegate!
Yea, I have an X-Box, what of it?
Well of COURSE I'm going to play Civ IV on my computer. Why do you think I bought it with the surround sound, and good graphics card? The game WAS a gift after all...
No, I don't think its a problem that I've given all those Star Wars Mini's to my kids... Nor is it a problem that I've taught him how to play Duelmaster, Yu-gi_oh!, Pokemon et al. You know what they say about games and developing kids...
Big deal, lots of people have vacation savings accounts. I use mine to go to GenCon, what's the big deal!?
So, I don't have a problem!

| Hi, my name is Kyle and I'm a gamer. [crowd] Hi Kyle [/crowd]
I'm 36 years old. I play twice per week, Mon. and Tue. evenings. I DM a KoK D&D (v3.267) game on Mon. that consists of a group of guys who've been friends since high school (or before) and gaming in one form or another for about 15 years. It's a beer and pretzels affair that has kept us together over the years, it's tremendous fun. Myself and one of the other players date back to Junior High in our gaming together. I'm virtually always the DM for this group.
On Tue., I actually get to play. About half of the group (3) have known each other and gamed together since at least college, they're a few years older than myself. I met, along with the remainder of the group, at a FLGS and decided we should game together. This was about 2 years ago. The games usually consist of mini-campaigns with rotating DM's. These campaigns will run from several weeks to several months. We are just starting up a SWRPG. I'm looking foward to the change of pace Star Wars should provide. | |

| My name is Dave. I'm 38 (I think, hold on, let me subtract . . . yep, 38). I don't get to play D&D as much as I'd like, but, I play about four times a month (but not necessarily once a week). I play minis as often as I can, but stupid work gets in the way.
I think about D&D and minis all the time, even, gasp, sometimes when I'm out to dinner or at a movie. Then again, this has been happening all my life. (Walking on a nature trail in the middle of Tennessee, what do I think of? The effects of terrain on movement in D&D.)
My addiction hasn't cost me any job or relationships yet, so I think I'm probably safe for now.
Honestly, I've played with mostly the same guys since about '85. We've joked, consistently, that we'll be playing, in diapers, in a nursing home somewhere in 50 years. One can dream . . . .

| Hi, I'm Mark, and I'm a game-aholic.
This March, I'll celebrate the 6th anniversary of my 30th birthday.
I have a regular Friday game night, where we RPG (various kinds) for 3 weeks, and then I play DDM on the 4th at my FLGS.
Wednesday nights is Heroscape - after the young-ens go to bed. Sometimes Roborally or other board games like Zombies.
Once a month or so, I play in a Saturday RPG.
I also have an XBOX 360, which sucks down even more time. And of course, I have to find time to watch Battlestar Galactica and Lost every week!
Did I mention that I'm married with 4 kids...3 of which are 3 years old or under! I can't remember their names, so I've been calling them Halo, Snig, Sgt. Drake, and Starbuck. | | Rhane "The focus is sharp in the city..." Have/Want List Reference thread Avatar Thread

| | Hi, my name is Preston. I'm 23, and was first introduced to this "role-playing" by a friend of mine (enabler)when I was 19. Before that I had experimented with card games of dubious nature, but that was all chalked up to youth. First we started with White Wolf storyteller games (gateway drug). When 3.0 came out I was into the hard stuff, right off the bat. My RPG group meets every Friday night, usually to play D&D, but we have played games as varied as Feng Shui, Werewolf, Call of Cthulhu, and some other stuff. Then the minis started. Much of my RPG group dislikes pure mini games, but my friend (the enabler again) got me and another buddy hooked hard. My thoughts throughout the day are somewhat dominated by D&D, and D&D-like pursuits. My massive videogame collection is going largely untouched (I seriously have over 300 games spread across 18 different video game consoles). My wife understands, but gets quite mad when I'd rather play a mini game than Settlers of Catan (which, btw, we used to log like three games a week with, now down to one every two weeks). | | **Note: Unless otherwise stated all my minis are unbagged** My reference thread is at: http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12765 Graduate school is swollowing my soul!!!! I am a death knight that died at 28 years old. I play what mortals call AD&D or D&D twice or thrice a week.
Saturday: Oriental Adventures/Plane Travelling Campaign ( DM ) Wedsnday: Forgotten Realms level 1 Barbarian/ level 1 Fighter ( player ) When we can: Forgotten Realms, level 8 Minotaur- soon to be level 1 Barbarian ( player )
I play role-playing games on my PS2 every day for several hours and am currently developping three new RPGs based on my various degrees of insanity; one set in fantasy ( actually trying to Turn Chrono Cross into an RPG ) and the other in a post-apocalyptic Earth with mutants, demons, werewolves/vampire and oh yes, humans too ( heavily influenced by Shin Megami Tensai: Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 ) and my biggest project is based on Romance Of The Three Kindoms and will be a strategy/RPG set in ancient China ( around 370-420 AD )
By the way, if anyone here is interested in that historical period, please email me or post a note here. I am always interested in talking about history and mythologies :) | | Please donate BLOOD at http://www.monstersgame.co.uk/ac=vid&vid=11018554 Champion Of Kaz the Minotaur Knight of ALL Draconians.
