BUt if there is a mini in the WD set that is a monster and a monk I am cool with that. I mean I have around like 15 dolguant monks and want more. According to the other RHoD thread, the monk is a hobgoblin and the berserker is a bugbear.
These are supposed to be enemies in the module, so the Kulkor Zhul sorceror is probably based on some type of monstrous humanoid or monster as well.

| | It does seem odd that we have so many monks from an RPG perspective but they are pretty fun in skirmish. And hobgoblin monk means it would probably be an LE monk, and we haven't had a good LE monk (skirmish-wise) since well, never. The Dark Moon Monk is used but not for her monk abilities but for her magic weapon spells. | |

Amen to that! I for one really liked the dolguant monk mini and wish I had even more.

Most of these can be subbed with an existing mini pretty much, I would like more Bugbears and Hobgoblins mind you and hopefully we shall find out more over the next couple of months.

| I would expect to see a hobgoblin warpriest modeled on the Hobgoblin Adept (Chainmail) appear in War Drums or DQ. Then I can add it to my list of Chainmail minis we'll likely never see online stat cards for. Sigh.
I would strongly suspect that the half-blue dragon baddie in RHoD will be coming in DQ (could be one of the unknown 24 WD slots, though...) | |

Yes we have to many monk minis...but to be more spacific we have to many HUMAN monk minis.
Take away humans and we have a Half-Orc and a Githzeri in terms of PC minis....thats it.
So I want another human monk as much as a hole in the head..but Id really like to see a Gnome, Halfling, Elf, or Dwarf monk minis...in both genders!
Oh and if its been mentioned already Im sorry but just to let ya know a Doom Fist Monk is most definitly a Hobgoblin. | |
