| I haven't heard much about the Gelatenous Cube other than it's supposed to be a huge - and in the Dragon Queen set. Has anyone else heard about this?
My last one melted all over the maps and smeared the artwork. Now my Epic Mordie card is stained. Maybe I should use unflavored geletin instead of Lime next time.

I'm with you on that, a huge Gcube will take up an enormous amount of space. In reference to the start of this thread, I haven't heard anything and haven't seen any information out here about the huges (other than Tiamat) in WDQ.

| | I still think using a cube of jello is the funnest way to represent one in rpg. Skirmish, ya it'd be nice to have one. | | Disipline is the only way to overcome chaos. | | Long ago they announced that they were working on the cube, but hadn't been able to get it right. However, they added when they did finish it, it would be large not huge. I'll see if I can dig up that annoucement. | | Have: Cat; Want: Storm Giant Champion of Anything Dragonlance Before trading, please check the Disputed Trades Thread | |

| Here's the article: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mi/20040916b
Relevant quote: quote: 8. Minis You Want: Gelatinous Cube
The Gelatinous Cube is another mini we haven't been able to produce ... yet. The problem with the gelatinous cube is a transparent plastic issue. We're working on solving the problem but in the meantime, don't expect the GelCube or any other transparent minis in the D&D Miniatures line any time in the next year
Note the other minis from the "minis you want" section were the Aspect of Tiamat (in WotDQ) and Mounted Minis (which we now have a couple of). Perhaps that means the G-cube will be coming round the mountain soon. | | Have: Cat; Want: Storm Giant Champion of Anything Dragonlance Before trading, please check the Disputed Trades Thread

| Okay, I'm fine with large, just as long as it fits into my tackle box nicely.
Does this then mean we might see on in the War Drums as a large uncommon?

| Yeah, we sure haven't seen any other clear plastic in the DDM line. I do hope the Gelatinous Cube is on the way, but we don't really have any indication, other than that there's a lot of people who want one.
It's possible that they'd make it uncommon, since it has a pretty low CR, but the Monster Manual lists them as "solitary" creatures, so rare would be my guess. | | Champion of the Rakshasa. Check out my Mini Terrain Maker, or my new Dungeon Map Maker (under development).

| It will probably be just like the Roper - a large rare thats horribly over priced so that the skirmishers trade them off to RPGers.
and I hope it doesnt come in any set with the name "War" in it.. its not a very war like mini. but I do hope it comes out. and done at least as nicely as the fan one weve seen released. | | Minis...
