| Okay, so I sat down with a bunch of minis today and looked them over for...stupid repaint ideas. I have not actually DONE any of these, but they'd be fun to visualize.
The Incredible Hulk (Aspect of Kord): Just take Kord and repaint him green. Works best with the next idea, below.
Legolas (Elf Stalker): No modification needed, really. Looks enough like Legolas that it's good to go as is. Paired with the above repaint and you get Legolas and the Hulk on the same battlefield. Yes, this is a P-A joke.
Garish Samurai (Any 'Color Samurai'): Take any of the color Samurais (Red, Copper, etc.) and repaint them either pink, or in every color of the rainbow. Either way it'll look incredibly, potentially eye-searingly garish and should inflict visual trauma on your opponent.
Little Mac (Any Monk, requires shortening of legs): Any monk figure will do so long as you can shrink it down far enough to look sensible on a Small creature base. Repaint their hair black, shorten the legs to make them Small, add Boxing Gloves. Dispatch Little Mac after figures that are ten times his size, such as Aspect of Kord, Marut, most dragons, etc. If the monk in question isn't human (Githzerai Monk for example), repaint their skin to make them human. | |

I've seriously been considering lightening the Harbinger Earth Elemental a bit and adding blue spandex shorts with a little 4 in a circle logo....
Fortunately I have too many "serious" repaints to worry about before then. | |

Which could be the breath weapon? a raimbow cone??? or a pink line.
What about painting the werebear in light colors (pink, light blue, light yellow) and paint the belly in white with a raimbow or a heart, we could have a Carebear into game! put a Care line weapon.

Or a cool one would be a "Dire Yogi" and give Dire Bear a green derby and a picnic basket hanging out of his mouth... and make Boo-boo a celestial black bear but repaint brown :) | |

That would work, but what about removing the axe and making the werebear into were Yogi bear... put the basket in the hand that would have the axe. | |

That reminds me of a t-shirt depicting the epic battle between stick mand and rainbow bear. Maybe I need a rainbow-colored CDB...

| I repainted my Abbyssal Maw two shades of green. It looks like a fiendish snot ball.
Also repaiinnted my dretch white with black spots.
I should repaint the Lemure brown so that it looks like a pile... wait it is brown. | |

I can't find it now, but there used to be a pic on the net of a Reaper Werebear that someone had done up as a carebear. I had it as the background for my work PC for a while, laughed every time I went out to the desktop. | |
