| I will have to agree this is indeed a great set and ranks high at top but even though I understand all about promoting a current campaign set, catoring to fans, etc. 4 Warforged was a bit too much for my RPG taste.
Can't please everyone and nothing is perfect...I can only hope not to see any Warforged in the next 3 sets [)]

| Best set by far IMHO but I did notice something.
Underdark - Heavy Forgotten Realms theme and support Wardrums - Heavy Eberron theme and support.
This could bode well for WotDQ to be heavy Dragonlance theme and support.

| Yeah Kudos.
-Nice mix of New Monsters weve been begging for (Chimera, Night Hag, Girallon, Quaggoth, Derro).. -Nice mix of Old Monsters we wanted new sculpts of (Ogre, Bugbear, Habgoblin, Goblin, Troll, Hill Giant, Wight, Mind Flayer) -Nice mix of cool stuff we didnt ask for but its still cool (Warbound Impaler, Gulgar, Khumat, Elemental Wall) -Nice Out-of-the-Blue surprises (Sacred Watcher ghost, Hill Giant Cheiftan, Mephling, WARDUKE)
I am still feinding for my fix of Twig Blight, Gnomes and Mphits..But other than that its a fantastic set!
Thank you.

| | I agree. War Drums is my favorite set so far, and I think the last three sets have all been phenomenal. Good job WoTC! | | I am not gone. | |

| I also must say, good job at keeping a lot of things secret and not previewing certain minis.

| | I have to say that seeing the photos (blurry B&W but photos nonetheless) has increased my interest in Wardrums. I don't think I'll be getting a case but I am going to float the idea of splitting one with 2 of my friends. | | Completed Trades: Crescent Hawk, Vimes, demagogue, vidman, Eric is God, Strachan Fireblade, FungiMuncher, Dudeeehm, Shasack, gausse, kyrin, nyjastul69 Champion of the Remorhaz | |

| Odds of Dragonlance support in WotDQ is looking highly probable. Yay!
I imagine that the upcoming two sets are likely to have a bunch of minis that will be nice to see: Twig Blight, Stirge, Mephits, Gnomes, etc. I would be shocked [:o] and dismayed [V] to see more than one warforged in either of the remaining sets for 2006.
War Drums just moved into my favorite set. Underdark was winning (Iron Golem + Ankheg in a single set) but War Drums has so many RPG pieces my head is spinning. Let's just hope it's as good for skirmish as Underdark was. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. Where's my pie? | | Have to agree we've got quite the dish served up to us next week. Going to have to buckle and order another case. There's a few pieces I won't likely use rpg wise (at least for now) but there's aplenty that won't see my trade pile at ALL! | | You see! There ARE others out there just like me. What? | loves me some Forged
I dont understand while ppl continue to clamour about DL stuff when its not even a WotC supported product. And all you ppl always complaining about the heaving handing of Eberron. Please they are dumbing thousands into making sure this CS gets off the ground. WotC is giving ppl the tools to do it. There are thousands of freakin GNOME sculpts out there. And hey its just a silly looking halfling anyways | | P.I.M.P. | |

| Reading the previews I'd been saying, "meh" most of the time. Now that I get to see it all I love it. I love the special abilities, especially Mob and Horde. Yay Undead. Oh yeah, and the LG undead. Lots of fun things here.

| Okay, okay.
I'm FAR from the biggest WotC fanboy, and I haven't been particularly thrilled over some of the previews so far. However, seeing the entire set list, the pictures, and the stats, I gotta chime in with my kudos as well.
For the most part, the variety is great. There are some great flagship figures in there, and the set looks solid from top to bottom. From a skirmish standpoint, I really like what I'm seeing so far.
I gotta let the novelty wear off, and take a closer look at the skirmish stats before I christen this the "best set ever", but I could definitely see it living up to that title. | | Rhane "The focus is sharp in the city..." Have/Want List Reference thread Avatar Thread
