Loving the Warforged.
Lion of Talisid looks like he could pass for a shifter. The scythe is a goofy weapon IMO.
Bronze = COOL!!!
Obould has some nice details.
The elemental wall is cool, but I'd rather have an uncommon large fire or water elemental.
The MFT looks a LOT better than Shuluth, but variety is a good thing.
I really like this set a lot and can't wait to get my cases in.
BTW, this is MUCH better than getting the set poster early.

| I've noticed a couple things while looking at the pics on here.
1) The Night Hag looks like she has a microphone in one hand and singing.
2) The HGB looks constapated.
3) Arcane Ballista looks like a D&D fanatic's mailbox, holding a letter.
4) Khumat looks like a cartoon character.
5) The Brass Samurai is sniffing her armpits.

It's big! Nearly as tall as the Aspect of Kord. Though the AoK is beefier, the War Troll is not much smaller. His body looks to be roughly the same size as the Justicator, but taller (to compare it to two large minis I just happen to have close at hand). | |

I think I know the answer. If you look at the size categories, all large creatures' body lengths should (more or less) fit within the listed numbers in the books. That way, a large "horizontal" creature should be about the same size as a large "vertical" creature. As the "vertical" ones tend to fill up most of the space on their bases, the "horizontal" ones should gain what they lose in height by extending beyond their bases. It's just a better way of showing size differences than earlier in the product line. "Horizontal" large creatures used to be more like the size of "vertical" medium sized creatures in the early days... | |
