| Wow Im tired.
Well Im back from WF and I had a blast. Finished 3rd in the WD prerelease, didnt do as hot in the vintage though I had a good start. Met a ton of great people that I hadn't met before and just had an overall good time despite being tired and stuck in pretty much the hotel basement all weekend (weird ballroom). | |

| I just got home from WF myself. I got trounced in the WD Pre-release, which worked out fine because I had to run a MoH adventure and play in the Open Fiesta anyway.
It was a fantastic CON! One of the best parts was meeting all the great folks from this site, Aesoph being one of them. I also had the pleasure of running Kiddoc through a MoH adventure. To add to the goodness, I got to see the CRD up close and personal (words can't do it justice, it's incredible) and spend time talking to Keith Baker, Shoe, and the other folks who came from WoTC. It was fantastic talking and gaming with such a talented, friendly bunch of people.

| Well, somebody with a rulebook start posting the rules changes so those of us who have been freaking out for days to see them can finally see them.

| Got in late last night after a brutal drive.
WF was great. I lost huge in vintage and in the prerelease, but ended up going undefeated in the sealed on Sunday, which all of a sudden everyone wanted to play in when Ian said, "let's add a Wardrums starter to each person's pile for sealed." It was packed.
I got to play in a MoH event, which Kiddoc talked me into and I'm glad he did... now I want to play the new campaign that is starting up. | |

Yep, here is the good news though:
Wotc announced to the participants of the last tournament (a sealed event with both WD and Underdark...), that WF is tentatively scheduled for February 15-18th in the same location next year. However, the WHOLE area is being remodelled starting shortly, and will look like more of a ballroom, with Carpet by the time 07 rolls around (my feet will appreciate the carpet!).
I have tons to say, but It's going to take a while to get it all out! I'll echo Striderlotr's sentiments on the drive...

| Got back last night myself, and have to say it was a great time. Gave the brain another chance to associate some names and faces to the maxminis crowd, hopefully it'll do better remembering everyone for the next time.
Lol, compared to last year, the number of minis players was huge. I think you could count on your fingers the number of players in any of the tourneys in 05, but here, well, the place was swarming with players. Got a few rematches in (heh, won some, lost some) and in general just had a blast.

You keep telling yourself that. I say the same thing and this year still played in less the 6 league games. I think I'll pass on league at Indy in favor of more events. | |

| I find league to be my "chance" to play the people I dont get seeded against in the other events. I did at least 15 league games in 3 days.. only 2 on thursday too. I will try to squeeze in a league game anywhere. Its tons of fun.
Im actually thinking about skipping other events to "compete" in league. At least Ive got a chance at "winning" league. | |
