| That's odd... Dylman gets credit for something I've been posting on the WotC boards since the 2nd (Of course, I can't really take credit either, since I got it off an article posted by gideonan on Merric's site Feb 27)... http://www.3rdedition.org/merricb/article.asp?id=1504 | | If the deal is right, everything is for trade... If I am reposting someone elses stuff, I always try and mention where I (or they if said) got the information. I must of missed your earlier post on wizards board. | Most likely it's the exact same file as the Lolth card, and all they did was overlay Mody's card overtop. Another corner cut it seems...
Did they at least fix the Independant 'typo' or did they not bother? Course, I suppose it would make sence if they didn't, to keep it in line with the current card. | | Champion of the Alhoon and my called shot for Unhallowed Blood War Called Shot: Phoenix Trade withe me!

That is exactly what they did, but only with the front of the card. Odd.
No edit or update. It seems like they actually used a scan of the card rather then the original print files to make these PDFs. | | Champion of the Gelatinous Cube. Nemesis of Gnomes and Dinosaurs.

| The promptness of having it up is really the important thing. The quality I can deal with. I'm still afraid that these epic cards will go the way of the Tiles..and we wont see as much continual support of someone putting them on the web.
Their support of Chainmail equivelencies has drastically gone down. And thats not even that hard to do either.. you just take a blank card and add the stats. Done.
So hopefully this will be a new trend of the cards always being up =).
Also, for the record, I dont think the Independent thing is a type. I think something will come out that will make Mordy glad he has that =). Like something that takes away a peice from being a commander.. | | Champion of a Knight of Takhisis/Knight of Neraka

It blinks in less than one second. I recommend you close acrobat (reader) and double click the file but have your eyes fixated on where you know the location is that the Mordy stat side is, you'll see it briefly. It is layered in there.
It just shows one of the many allegiances Mordy has [)]

You can also take the PDF file and disassemble it, isolating the layers, moving Mordy out of the way, and actually seeing the Lolth card beneath. | | Champion of the Gelatinous Cube. Nemesis of Gnomes and Dinosaurs.

I was refering to the general masses and the percentage of users with the reader. There's a bunch of them decompilers out there. EPC?

Sorry, I have no idea what that means.
All I did was open it up in Illustrator. It allows you to manipluate the elements to your heart's content, and to extract embedded vector images (like the Wardrums set icon) to your heart's content.
Speaking of which, anyone want a scaleable eps file of the Wardrums set icon, or indeed does anyone want to host said file if there is an interest in it? | | Champion of the Gelatinous Cube. Nemesis of Gnomes and Dinosaurs.

Yup, Photoshop opens up PDFs as well, I just never liked the way the manipulated things back into PDF. | | Trades >> Completed: 49 | Bad: Ø | Pending: 0 | Trade & talk Live on IRC! SERVER: irc.psionics.net CHANNEL: #maxminis

Photoshop normally doesn't maintain the layers both when saving a new file or when opening an old one. You need a vector-baed program, like Illustrator, to see what's in behind. | | Champion of the Gelatinous Cube. Nemesis of Gnomes and Dinosaurs.

Hmm despite the fact that we have the card, that was by devious means. It still is not up as a link on the wizard's page, or officially announced. | I think Ian said specifically that it would be posted the Thursday of the first full week of March. which isn't until tomorrow.
In fact, the reason that it was on the website to find indicates that they probably had it all set up and ready to go live tomorrow as far back as the middle of last month.
