| Two double sided maps are listed as being in this latest Fantastic Locations Module. Does anyone know if they are all going to be new maps?
Second, looking at the wizards page where they have the cover art for this module why have they changed the order of the chimeras heads? They have the lion head in the middle. | | Champion of Cyclops

As for your second question: artwork is artwork. There is no requirement for the order of the heads on a chimera. | | Champion of Meepo _*_ Myztek on the Wizards Boards. _*_ (2206 DDM on 03/06/06) Please note: The use of the indicates an attempt at humor ... often a bad attempt. | | Well originally thats how the Chimera is, with the lion head in the middle. Probably the artist wasnt told that the dragon head had been moved on the mini because no one saw it as a big deal. Just to a lot of us D&D enthusiasts, we see something like that and find it weird. I think it would have been nicer if it went along with the mini, but it doesnt matter a huge deal either way. Cant wait for some more new maps tho. | | Champion of a Knight of Takhisis/Knight of Neraka

Yup, the artwork depicts how the Chimera is truely suppose to look. Lion in the middle, Goat on the Right (Chimera's Right) and the Dragon on the left (Chimera's Left)
I did take notice as to why they changed it though. The sculpt of the Chimera is three separate sections, left center and right. The center is the full dragon part going down to the dragon tail (which a chimera can have, I've seen snakes too though) So Im assuming that to save paint steps they just stuck the Dragon head onto that center piece so they could paint it all the same color. | | Champion of the Alhoon and my called shot for Unhallowed Blood War Called Shot: Phoenix Trade withe me!

| | Actually, I thought Shoe or someone offical once said it had to do with stability of the piece being the reason they moved the dragon head to the middle. Kindof makes sense as the dragons head is largest of the three. | | Dragons are long, but not tall! Champion of Krenshar | |

| I actually find the Chimera to be more aesthetically pleasing in that configuration. Looks nicer to have the dragon head lined up with the dragon wings.

I'm not as fond of it, myself. It seems it bit too much like a dragon with extra bits stuck on rather than a true amalgam of three different beasts. | | Champion of the Gelatinous Cube. Nemesis of Gnomes and Dinosaurs.
