| I am amazed at the differeing oppinions on Tiamat. Some think she is bad, and others think she is great.
Personally I like the sculpt and paint job and will be very pleased to pull one.
As for the topic, would Tiamat fit in the LE/CE build as we already have a solid LE with the Blue Dracolich? Just a thought on alignments and all.
I would also love to see some of the Red Hand pieces find their way in as well.

Really? The lich is CE, and undead are often LE/CE, we don't even know that it is for certain a lich and not just a skeletal dragon (ok the lightning breath might be a giveaway)... so, I wouldn't say it's a "gauranteed/solid" LE.
As for the possibility of Tiamat being CE? That'd be wrong. | According to the Monster Manual (pg. 194), Nightmares are "Always neutral evil"--Meaning that a Nightmare, by itself, could end up in either LE or CE or LE/CE.
As far as the likely mini goes...Well, I guess it depends on whether or not it is actually mounted. I know the box art shows a rider. Still, we've had mounted minis for LG, CE, and CG--that leaves LE out. The Nightmare is pretty heavy on special abilities and it looks to be relatively light on damage with a decent AC (LE all the way).
Logic tells me to go with LE on this one. | | Champion of the Werewolf Lord, Knight of Anything Duergar, and Squire of Things Gnollish List reset with the start of previews for each new set...got Chainmail®?

I also feel that the Huge Blue Draco-skel/lich will be LE, I was just saying that IF either the HBDS/L or Tiamat were NOT LE it'd be the HBDS/L rather than Tiamat. | | Ok, go on and laugh at me for what I'll say, but I just have to say it: that picture is on the exact same pose as the picture of Tempus riding his black dire stallion Deiros on FR's Faiths and Pantheons. Even the axe is on the same position. Now, I'm not saying that an Avatar of Tempus will be on WotDQ, but hey, how much would that rock? It would be the second best thing, right after an Avatar of Torm mounted on his gold dragon... | | "I know exactly what I'm doing" - famous last words.

| | Tempus'd be cool. But, maybe you're on to something, maybe this will have many many Aspects... after all it's a deific war right? Need deities on all sides to fight other deities. Maybe this will be our "dwarf" or "drow" set, but instead it's with "aspects". Someone mentioned that the huge black dragon looked like it was mounted, maybe it's mounted by some deity. | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. ??? So far, only 2 huges and speculatively are LE. Tiamat and Dracolich. The Nightmare, yah, that's cool, but it's not huge that we know of...
... beside last huge set, GoL, there were exactly ZERO LE exclusive huges. The Bulette and Warfudge Titan were the two accessible ones. One was useless in skirmish, the other was Warfudged. | | Don't Count the Blackguard as LE yet, Blackguards can be any Evil, it depends (possibly) on the creatures race (that is the blackguard) a bugbear blackguard will probably be CE, while a dwarf blackguard would most likely be LE (since most dwarves are lawful including the evil ones).

| Hello,
So, I am wondering if we are fixating too much on the Aspect of Bahaumut too much. What about if the mystery figure on the DDM website as linked on the list is something else.
OK, pure speculation here.
Ancient Silver Dragon
They are huge, right? And they would come first alphabetically in the LG list.

| I just found unexpected info about the Blackguard that IS in this set from a post in the Dreamblade forum:
http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=17087
"7) Transparents. We have figured out how to do transparent minis for a reasonable price. D&D minis will benefit from this first as Shoe has already stated elsewhere. The blackguard in War of the Dragon Queen is a good example."
This is from Mike Donais, so I'd say that's DEFINITELY confirmed. | | No longer active on MaxMinis

| One of the things that the "Sacred Warder of Bahamut" does, if it is the actual name, is open up the #1 to a different Huge.
As obviously Sacred Warder isn't going to be #1.

Shoe said somewhere that this time around the huges are being incorporated alphabetically into the regular set list. Which is why we have the Aspect of Bahamut debate constantly as of late.
Course, that could just mean that the Huges start the list this time [:0] | | Champion of the Alhoon and my called shot for Unhallowed Blood War Called Shot: Phoenix Trade withe me!
