| Posted By Corim Danex on 06/04/2007 9:49 PM Posted By Vrecknidj on 05/28/2007 5:32 AM I wonder if maybe we should unstick this thread and just institute a new policy of "If you want to ask WotC something, you should do it on their own boards" policy. And then we can just post what we learn in plain old threads in the appropriate places over here.
Dave Well, they once asked us to start this thread. We were told that they would do their best to answer our questions. Now, they no longer follow through with that except for a seemingly random, once in a blue moon response. I take this to mean that the maxminis community has offended them sufficiently that they no longer wish to follow through with their expressed intention of answering the questions on this thread. No amount of, "No, everything's ok, we're still here" speaks louder than the lack of regular and frequent responses. This place is nearly a ghost town when it comes to WotC DDM employees posting anything. you are so right. I don't know what we will do, but we should just keep this thread up anyway, just in case they come back.

| | I don't see them post on other boards (outside of WotC) with any more regularity. There is another quality DDM site that I have been unable to access for a coupla months however. Maybe things have changed significantly in that time, I doubt it though. I think they started playing in other peoples sand boxes too much and either were told to not do so as much, or more likely, they simply don't have the time. | | You know, I keep thinking that after the new design team gets done with D&D 4e, D&D won't stand for Dungeons and Dragons anymore, because well, that's just not fun. It's old and stuffy. - Originally Posted by BabWryter on Kenzerco.com | |

| More likely don't have as much time. I read the boards plenty, but have limited time during the day to do so. Evenings and weekends are filled with playing D&D, minis, board games, family, PC/xbox games, movies, some tv, mowing the lawn, and occasionally just relaxing.
There isn't any community that has offended me at all, and there isn't any corporate overlord telling me which message boards I should post at.. and the "once in a blue moon" replies are really because of the ebb-and-flow of my daily or weekly workload. I try to address significant concerns, but the times that I don't have a quick answer usually don't coincide with a quick post saying that I don't have a quick answer...
That said, I've been making an effort to provide rules- or tournament- related answers only on the WotC boards, since I believe that should be the official venue for such answers (sometimes I'll link the response here and on HL, too -- but it also seems like someone else usually does anyway). | | Professional Fan of DDM

I think we've found the problem. If you stop mowing the lawn, you'll not only have more time to visit us, but you will also have a great prop for RPG if you can convince your group to play outside

I got spoiled in a period of a few months in which somehow you guys (you two and others) somehow managed the time to post a lot more. | The preview that features the next Dragonlance mini would be my assumtion. Not being a part of WotC, I can't say for sure. That would be my guess though.
If the past is any indicator, we have several sets to wait. I hope not, but that is what the past would indicate. | | Champion of Eludecia, Succubus Paladin mounted on Vrock

| Hello, Shoe and the WotC folks...
There has been a lot of confusion surrounding how certain abilities listed on leaked NB cards work. Although we can't be *sure* of the exact text of these cards yet, the information leaks seem reliable enough that many of the issues that we are seeing are likely to exist.Â
There has been discussion about how rulings would be handled in the post Guy Net Rep era. However, as far as the outside world can tell, there has been no activity. This may not be true - but we've had no indication that anything is in place.
Will there be Clarifications for Night Below before the pre-prerelease (this weekend)? Before the prerelease (next weekend)? Before the release (the following weekend)?
If the answer all all three questions above is no: When will we some rule interpretation/clarifications? What form will they take? Who is involved in preparing them?
Most importantly: What can we, as a community, do to help prepare clarifications and make this task easier for WotC?
As a community, we were blessed by Guy's contributions over the years. However, the common sentiment in the community is that we're entering a dark era of confusion and frustration. We appreciate your efforts in reducing these problems. | | Champion of Meepo _*_ Myztek on the Wizards Boards. _*_ (2206 DDM on 03/06/06) Please note: The use of the indicates an attempt at humor ... often a bad attempt. | | I just have to get this off my chest. I just read the preview of the new dryad. It isn't some strange varient. It is their new vision for her. I HATE IT. Why take one of the few beautiful creatures and destroy it? You turned the beautiful, female, tree spirit into an ugly, androgenous, "overgrown twigblight" (thanks to zenthrus for that observation). I say again, I hate what you have done to the dryad, and everyone I have talked to about it agrees with me. I just can't wrap my brain around what would have made you do this. There was no reason to do it. | | Champion of Eludecia, Succubus Paladin mounted on Vrock
