| I know the folks at Paizo have been known for some silly mini prices, but come on, this is one of the crappiest rares ever made and you can pick one up for $3.98 at Auggies. I can still buy boosters from the set(and I'd be ticked if I pulled one of these turds out of it.) I can't imagine how they even sleep at night posting something like this on their website.
I'll be picking up the one and likely only mini I'll ever get from them soon, the Huge Black Dragon with Unsightly Tumor on Spine from them, but can't help but wonder if WotC forced them to sell it for $9.95.

Totally insane prices. Not sure what's worse, a $35 Ambush Drake or $15 Grell.

| | Rarity aside, I am about... oh... 500,000 times more likely to use a Grell in my games than an Ambush Drake, so I'd pay $15 for a Grell before paying $35 for the AD. | | I honestly hope that no one buys from them. I'd hate for someone to actually encourage their prices. Maybe they are just trying to get a jump on their competition and price what they think the minis will cost in 2010. That still will be way too high for the Ambush Drake tho, even in 2010 heh | | Champion of a Knight of Takhisis/Knight of Neraka | |

Sadly it is. If you remove that store from the equation the average price of the ambush drake drops from $10.33 to $8.08 or roughly a 20% decrease.

| Well.. this caught us off guard as well. It seems that there was someone monkeying with our prices who was not quite up to speed. Many of the deathknell prices have been corrected.
That said, we run a bit on the high side for prices as it is. While this is not my area in the company, and I am in no way responsible for the prices, my understanding is that the prices are based off what our consumers are willing to pay. If a mini sells, the price goes up, if it does not, the price drops. I do not entirely approve, but it is not my decision.
At any rate, these pricings have nothing to do with any other facet of Paizo, such as the Sorcerer on the Black Dragon promo, or the magazines themselves.
Just an FYI

| Paizo and a few other online stores are notorious for consumer rape, they feel justified because they still sell stuff. I still call it consumer rape.
That being the case the online price guide is supposed to be a source for *ALL* such prices. Editing out sources is not the way to go. Keeping an eye on the high/low and std dev is. | | My online store http://store.hoardsters.com Use quick search to see scans of every stat card!
