| quote: Well, looking at the actual words taxidermy (to stuff an animal for MOUNTING) and Alpinism (mountain climbing), I'm thinking both of these clues refer to the Frost Giant on Wooly Mammoth... And even the "mixed up" versions suggested by Humble Minion also fit the theory...
Gabe
That makes good sense to me. Taxidermy is commonly called mounting. Mounting = Mounted. Frost Giant mounted on Wooly Mammoth. Don't think we want to see "mounting" here. | | 270+ Trades Completed (194 maxminis | 50 wizards | 29 hordelings) References: http://www.maxminis.com/Forums/tabid/104/view/topic/forumid/53/postid/435268/Default.aspx H/W List: http://www.maxminis.com/hwlist.asp?user=gausse Bad Trades: Chaotic Good (Strongbow Lone Eagle), dndonuts, Allard, ScottWallace Email: gausse2@yahoo.com

Depends on what is being mounted and whom is doing the mounting[:D] | | Champion of Tavern Stripper Knight of Knights Squire of Death Giants Somethin-or-another of Big Arse Swords

| I don't think we're looking at anagrams. I think the 'mixed up notes' may just mean that the figures to be previewed are not exactly in line with the clues.
Taxidermy: I think we're looking at the cadaver collector. It collects bodies. That is a pretty close fit.
Alpinism: I think the mammoth is very likely. It fits the concept of alpinism. In addition, as we had 2 entirely new minis this week, I don't think it will be too much for them to give us 2 Preview X minis next week (with no new minis).

| | I think we're on the right track with the "mount" idea. I figure he'll preview the mammoth and halfling dino-rider. | | Completed trades: Gausse, Mazra, Pagansexy, Galerians, Lord_Raven, Drakkengi, Temujinn x2, Random Sasquatch, elf_ranger, Azuretide, Hung4treason, Griffrat (face2face), Nasamonkey Carpe Forum! | |

| We already have a Dwaren Ranger--the Caver.
We "need" a Dwarf Rogue-type before we re-visit the Ranger. But that's just how I look at things--that's usually very different than the way that everyone else sees things. | | Champion of the Werewolf Lord, Knight of Anything Duergar, and Squire of Things Gnollish List reset with the start of previews for each new set...got Chainmail®?
