| I love Trogs.
They're great monsters. And we now have a normal Trog, a Trog Berserker, a Trog Champion, a Trog Thug, and a Trog Cleric.
That's a lot of Trogs. In fact, it might be all the Trogs the D&D Minis line needs for the next, say, three years.
I appreciate the Trogs very much, but I think it's time to call it quits for awhile. | | Champion of the Aboleth, Prophet of Denizens. BW Called Shot: Babau, UH Called Shot: Aspect of Vecna

| I need way more trogs for my new, trog-based campaign. I would like the following:
- Trog Bard - Trog Druid - A trog with a big axe, like what the grimlocks got - Trog Bodyguard - Trog Sergeant - Enlarged Trog - Elven wizard using alter self to look like a trog
(Actually, I was happy to see the trog cleric, because now I DO have a good figure for my elf wizard when he's "trogged out".) | | Champion of the Rakshasa. Check out my Mini Terrain Maker, or my new Dungeon Map Maker (under development).

| | I'm happy about the latest trog, but I agree now with this last one we have plenty for a while. I'm glad they laid off of the orcs, drow and dwarves (except one dwarf) in this set. We could still use more variety of other critters, though, such as duergar (with different weapons), lizardfolk (how about a lizard king with trident?), and others. | | | |

| | Personally I'd like to see more Trogs and Lizardfolk. And the nice thing is I think they can sub for eachother pretty well. So I'm happy to get more and more, and have some spellcasters to go with the warriors, etc. I use Trogs a lot in my campaigns, so its nice to have a lot of different poses and sculpts. | I'll admit it: I've been calling for Trogs since Dragoneye. It took us a LONG time to get them, but they're here. I'm glad.
But, like anything else, it's possible to have too much of a good thing. Too many Drow, too many dwarves, perhaps even too many Gnolls, and we're certainly to the point where I say "whoah" on the Trogs. For the time being. I'd like to see a few sets "off the Trog" since we've got our grunts, our elites, and a caster. The Barbarian could be used as a Rogueish type, so that's good.
Hopefully, we can have Blood War and Unhallowed without more Trogs (although a Trog Skeleton wouldn't be all bad) and let something else have the spotlight for a few sets.
After that? I'd like to see a more even distribution of races so that we avoid feast/famine situations. | | Champion of the Werewolf Lord, Knight of Anything Duergar, and Squire of Things Gnollish List reset with the start of previews for each new set...got Chainmail®?

I do not agree, I love Trogs as well. I do think the next couple of Trogs should be uncommons or rares, so for a while no more trog commons. I have an army of fodder now, could use some more leaders, spellcasters, etc.

How about 3 different versions of Kuo-Toa next? Kuo-Toa Cleric, Kuo-Toa Monk, Kuo-Toa Champion.

| It is funny there are more Troglodytes than gnomes. [:)]
I'm of mixed minds on the subject. On one hand there have been a lot of them lately, more than say Gnolls or Lizardfolk which I would say are more popular villian races. Although we're getting one of each in the new set.
On the other hand I've liked all the Trogs they've done so far and the Cleric looks promiosing. Therefore if they continued making them I'd be okay with it.

| | Honestly, I have to agree with the majority here. Trogs are cool, basic MM1 creatures and needed a solid base. But there are lots of other basic MM1 creatures that still need that solid base. After 10 sets, WotC has done pretty well giving us this solid base of monsters with a few notable holes (ie, GCube and rust monster). It's time to move on and fill other holes in our sets, and then come back to trogs if the market demands. | | Completed trades: Gausse, Mazra, Pagansexy, Galerians, Lord_Raven, Drakkengi, Temujinn x2, Random Sasquatch, elf_ranger, Azuretide, Hung4treason, Griffrat (face2face), Nasamonkey Carpe Forum! | |

| I like trogs and I like that we have a solid representation of them. I'm fine with sparingly including trogs in future sets. However, I don't want to see more grunt-type fighters (i.e., the troglodyte, troglodyte barbarian, and troglodyte thug). I have a large enough tribe of Trogs to last a very long time.

Too many Gnolls? What? have you gone into the future of DDM or something? Correct me if I'm wrong, but up 'till now we have a basic Gnoll reprinted once, an archer, and a sergant.
