| What do you think the epics in WotDQ will be? We know 2 Tordek the Slaughterstone Eviscerator. And for some reson I think Meepo was said to be epic somewhere? What will the other 4 be?(assuming they stick with 6)

- Tordek (confirmed)
- Slaughterstone Eviscerator (also confirmed)
- Cadaver Collector (my guess)
I'd like to see CG get an epic, seeing as they're stuck sharing their only two huges. I'm going to guess it's the Griffon Calvary. | |

| All the huges are epics. They'll only come with the blue stat cards as they can only be used in Epic games. As I understand it anyway.
I would love to see the Warden of the Wood as an Epic. Perhaps the Hobgoblin Talon of Tiamat will be the other.

| I'm guessing the Huges will ONLY get the blue Epic cards, to remain consistant with the idea of higher cost creatures getting the Epic card. I think if there are only 4 Epics beyond the Huges, they could be:

Slaughterstone Eviscertator
Golden Protector
Redspawn Firebelcher
I could see them waiting with the Blackguard on Nightmare and Griffon Calvalry until later, and put them in the retail kits. I hope there are at least two more Epics, but with the Huges, they may have decided to hold back. | |

I suppose that could always balance out the amount of Huges in evil, but I think CG will have one, as well as the Blackguard. Although, I would think if the Blackguard was epic, Shoe would have given a glimpse at it's epic stats in the last Preview. | |

Yeah on Shoe and the blackguard, its almost not epic for sure.
I expect LG to get 3 to make up for their only 1 huge. CG hopefully will get the other. Looking at the Golden Protector stats its almost a lock for one I think. | |

Epic Meepo puts 3/4 of the non-huge epics in LG. That just doesn't sound right.
So far LG has 3 epics (Tordek, Slaughterstone, Bahamut). CG has no epics. CG/CE has 2 epics (Huge Fire Elemental and Purple Worm). LE has 5 epics (Tiamat, Barney, Packlord, Dracolich, Eldritch Giant). CE has 4 epics (Spider, Troll, Sorc on Black, Tundra Scout).
This leads me to believe that we'll see the Wizened Elder Watcher (probably why it was bumped into a Rare slot) and either the Goliath Cleric OR Spellscale Sorc as the other two epics (that would give 3 LG/4 CG/5 LE/5 CE). | |

Golden protecter should be very tough indeed, but its damage output is sorely lacking, and its spells only go up to level 4. I reckon it will be an 80-100 point uber tank, but not epic. For those without the MM, this is because it has 125 HP, 26 AC basic, Immune fire, resist acid, cold and electric 10 and DR 5, as well as 1 shot of invisibility a day. | |

GoL-huges all had RPG stats. I do hope those of WotDQ have as well. Would be very disappointing for the RPG-crowd if they didn't.

| Remember, GoL came with the B&W cards, there were no epics at the time. My guess is that it will come with a blue card with rpg stats, or with a regular tan card, since we all know huges are for 500 point epic skirmishes anyway.
My predictions for the epics are
Slaughterstone eviscerator
Meepo
Tordek
Someones theory that the Wizened Elder Watcher is rare because it is an epic (to give one to CG) is reasonable, so I'll guess that one for the fourth. | |

I think because the Wizened Elder is already boosted out of the CR2 range by gaining "Watcher" and made a rare, I doubt it'll be launched that high that it gains epic status... | |
