| Hey all!
The Garland, TX Qualifier is this weekend in Garland (North of Dallas), and a number of us Austinites are gonna make the journey. Anybody else from maxminis heading up? Would be nice to shake hands with some fellow mavens!
I noticed a few "anonymous" entrants. Hmmm, we got some gunslingers headed into Big D? Show yerselves, ya long-eared galoots! [:D]

| That's a drag, D-tad. I guarantee that if you can make it to Austin, we can get you to Waco for the Pre-release. And get you some better Tex-Mex than you can get in Aggieland. [}:)]
We've also got a Midnight Release for WotDQ in Austin that you are heartily invited to. In fact, y'all come if you can...

| Driving to Austin for a pre-release party held at midnight is also something that isn't fun to do alone. I don't care about the midnight part, but it'd cost a fortune in gas to get there and back, let alone figure out where the hell I'd be going in Austin.
Same thing for Waco. That's the problem with being mostly equidistant to all of Texas' major cities. No matter where you go, it still takes a hell of a long time to get there. | |

| I'll be there since I'm heading out later on today to be at the qualifier. I'm one of the Anonymous entries but it should be pretty easy to spot me. I'll be the one jumping on top of tables, preaching about the virtues of all variety of Pegasi and how their eventual triumph is inevitable.*
*: I won't actually be doing this for obvious reasons. But it would make your day that much more surreal if I really did it, right? | |

That is the nearest qualifier, but I have a full-time job, I'm a WotC Delegate, AND I just picked up a second job on top of that, so there's just no way.
