With Dwarf Sargeant and Warpriest of Moradin, Tordek's AC vs Giants is 31. WITHOUT forest and similar cheese. I sense HGB disappearing from the metagame...

EDIT: I take back my earlier claims about Tordek being non-competitive. I think we finally have the piece to make a competitive dwarf point-denial warband.

I would guess Mob Morale gives Meepo a bonus on morale checks if he is adjacent to two or more friendly creatures.

ZOMG Fang Dragon rules! I can't believe he's only 42 points! EDIT: although his attack bonus is probably too low for him to be truly competitive, he really looks like a fun piece.

Nice job on posting the stats. That fang dragon does look like a lot of fun. Pity about the rather tuby looking sculpt. A beer belly is fine on the tavern brawler but not on a lean, mean, reptilian killing machine. Back on topic does look like WoTDQ will be a great set.

I forsee an epic version coming eventually.

I like the stats. Ogre Skirmisher has potential (is that SPRING ATTACK ON AN OGRE????) as does the Fang Dragon, etc. This set looks promising.

So far, it looks like some of the Sealed events could get pretty lopsided depending on the pulls. (But then, that's pretty normal.) As far as Constructed goes, I can't make any predictions from what I see here, except that most of these pieces don't look (yet), like they'll be replacing too many of the currently well-loved pieces. I can see room for some.

I haven't seen a powerful reason to go with the CG pieces listed so far though.

Dracolich seems very fragile for its cost. They should have added "requires beholder" [:p]

Yeah counterspell.

This ability should have been given to the Archmage (and Elmister). Hopes he gets it as an Epic.

This could be a great counter to the titan + Snakes Swiftness build. I also foresee this to be a popular choice of lieutenant in the EC.

Wow, thanks a lot for posting these!!!

I must admit to being a bit disappointed that Tordek is Independent, other than that, most look promising. I'm really digging the Magma Hurler.

I do like this Diseased Dire Rat. The ability to screw up victory points adds a wonderful element to the boredom I've been facing from playing nothing but assault. (Yeah, yeah everybody, I know--if I want to play something else, nobody's stopping me...)

Rock on Cadavar Collector. That is one sweet mini.

I need more and more of WotDQ by the day. 1st July cannot come fast enough. Exams are officially over that day AND a pre-release tournament. What could be sweeter (Cadavar Collecter and Diseased Dire Rat?) ?

Well, if counterspell still requires the target to be the nearest enemy, it can be easily foiled.
