| I haven't been getting a server not found error when trying to access the site yesterday and today. Is this a technical error on one end or the other or has the site moved/closed without notice? Although there is nothing wrong with Maxminis I did prefer the simpler layout.

| It's a surprise to me - I don't know whether the 3rdedition.org owners have pulled the plug or whether they've just forgotten to renew. (The former wouldn't utterly surprise me)
I'll investigate my options - at this point, I expect I'll not being doing much for a couple of months while I let my finances get to a stable point, then I'll investigate setting up my own site.

| It looks like the 3rdedition.org site has changed servers, and has used an out-of-date backup for the restore. To make things worse, I currently don't have ftp access to the site, so I can't fix things.
I'm waiting for the owners to come back online...

At present, I'm still in the dark over the future of the 3rdedition.org site. I'm making plans to move things over to a new site, but more information when I know about it. I hope this will be in a couple of days.
I'm *probably* not going to be able to copy the current (or more current) versions of the article/warband database over, as I don't have access to it directly. :-(
As you might imagine, I find all of this very frustrating. I've got a bunch of files I have to rebuild as the most recent versions aren't on my HD. (The most frustrating thing is that I was about to do a big backup of the article DB on the weekend this occurred...)

That's something I asked for of both them and the webmaster here ... I think it would be fitting if MaxMinis could actually host Merric's news/info/blog. As Merric says though, that timeline is unknown. | |

Now, if I could only get a few moments to work on the site. I've got to rewrite a bunch of code and pages, but I've just found myself in the middle of a busy period of work and gaming...
