| Sorry if this is addressed to the wrong guy, but I figured you'd be the one to bug about this. Would you (WotC) consider making the Stirge the next Prize Support piece for WotDQ... as a 4 pack?
I realize that you guys probably have the next 2 sets of prize support laid out, and I have no idea what the process would be for this, but I had to ask.
Yeah, I don't ask for much... but, I hope you guys can consider it. | | I'm sure lots would love to see it, but 4 packs are not likely to happen and I'm pretty sure all the WotDQ promo minis have already been produced. I think I read somewhere that they get produced at the same time as the regular figures do. | | Champion of Champions (for all races! even Gnomes ) Reference Thread Winnipeg Gryphon Cavalry Forums

| In the case that it's all cut and dry, I hope that they had the foresight to make stirges for prize support anyways. Collecting these is gonna be a nightmare.
And, of course if they can still do something about it, I hope they do. | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | I'm sure others have thought of this, but just not voiced an opinion on it yet.
A 4 pack would be a cool concept, but highly unlikely. | | Sean Banks Champion of Elementals Official Organizer Gen Con 05 maxminis Event | Winterfantasy 06 maxminis Event | Gen Con 06 maxminis Event | Winterfantasy 07 Community Event

| Even just one would be nice in the prize packs. Somehow I don't think the Stirge is a likely candidate though.
I think we can expect to see things like the Cleric of Syreth and Warden of the Wood.
A stirge would be nice though.....

| You'll be lucky to get a stirge at all as a prize piece. Never mind a four-pack.
WOTC has settled lately on 80% Uncommons it seems. None have been anything but medium sculpts (iirc) and a lot of those have been commanders. | | Never teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and it annoys the pig.

| Well, stirge is uncommon, so it fills one of the criterium. [:D]
The fact that it's tiny may exclude it, and it's certainly no commander. But, hopefully the very few paint steps involved would put it back in the running. Maybe that clear base screws things up again...
So, how many of you would be interested in voicing this desire as well? Seeing as I'm not alone.
(yeh, I know 4 is greedy, but an uncommon stirge really does hurt) | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | | Didn't Ian say these things are decided ~10 months in advance... in opther words, he is deciding (or has decided) on the ones for the Unhallowed block right now... and the WotDQ proms from WotDQ were decided last fall? | | Champion of Meepo _*_ Myztek on the Wizards Boards. _*_ (2206 DDM on 03/06/06) Please note: The use of the indicates an attempt at humor ... often a bad attempt. | But the ones in the prize support packs have (I think) all been medium. You're right that there have been other, non-medium promos from other venues, Dahak.

| cough.... fiendish spider (HUGE NON COMMANDER though he commands the field in other ways [:)])...
The person that posted that these are decisions made 10 months ago is about right. We put through our specifications at the concept art stage or at the first sculpts if we're lucky... therefore we're 9 - 12 months in advance of release.

Kobold Champ?
Dang it.
You know these things haven't even gotten out of the gate yet and there's asking prices of $3.39US for 1. For ONE tiny stirge.
Thanks for the response Ian, I appreciate knowing ahead of time that there's no way around the inevitable climbing price tag. *tears* | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | True enough on the promo's in general (including the pre-release spider, Ian [)]). I was in fact reffering to the prize packs for store support.
Sadly, no Huge promo for Zoons.[:(] I cannot make the tourney. I like the piece too. And limited play. And getting early pieces. And, well you get the point. | | Never teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and it annoys the pig.

| | No stirges for prizes, thats very sad to hear =/. It would have at least helped a lot of ppl. Maybe not by a lot, but any stirge is a good stirge. That promo would have been grabbed up very quick by ppl. | | Champion of a Knight of Takhisis/Knight of Neraka | |
