| For those playing in the prerelease, here are some useful facts.
* The chances of drawing no commander in 2 boosters should be less than 1 in 20.
* The Aspect of Tiamat + Huge Fiendish Spider is 497494 points.
Anyone else notice anything interesting?

| No you can have as many as the points\8 actavtions rules will allow
So you could run 7 Treant+ 1 purple worm (with 3 points left) it would suck and i don;t know what map you would put it on but you could do it. | | Sacramento DDM http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=16854

Nope, this has never been a rule. You could have up to 8 in constructed! But the most you'll see on Saturday is 3 huges in a warband. | | Champion of Gnomes

Great! I will see you there. This will be my second event (AF was the first one). I had fun but got my butt kicked hard. Hopefully, I will do better.

| I expect to pull neither Bahamut nor Tiamat, but to have to fight both.
I expect that my brother and I will want the same map, and I'll be a nice guy and let him have it.
I expect to crush the weak and flee from the strong. So, lotsa running.
I hope for (but don't really expect) the judge to be up on Guy's freshly posted clarifications and changes.
I expect to have as much fun opening the boosters and seeing what I got, as actually playing with the pieces.

Amen. And I fear I will not get a Godslayer, either.

We're pretty much left to judge on our own at the Waco prereleases, so this usually isn't an issue for us. [:)]

Yes, unless the judge or TO will be providing some extras, or unless you can borrow one from somebody.
It would be in your best interest to bring all of the maps you own, though, just to give yourself as much flexibility as possible when building your warband. | | Champion of Gnomes

Looks like the Austin crew is all heading to Waco this Saturday. Maybe the Houston tournament won't take forever like the last one seemed to.
Two Bluespawn Godslayers and company seem to be able to handle anything else they may see. At 390 points, that leaves a lot of room for tech pieces as well.

More accurately according to the floor rules you can use
Epic: War Drums Starter Set Maps: Field of Ruin, Teleport Temple. Fantastic Locations 1: Tomb of Queen Peregrine. Fantastic Locations 2: Hellspike.
No mention of Fantastic Locations 3: Kings Road but that may be Ian's usual lag time on actually documenting things.

in the DIC floor rules it says that you may use an WOTC product as soon as it is offically releaced... So Kings road has been out for some time so it's ok to use... however if anyone uses the Dragons Grottto (or what ever it;s called) maps they will not offically be out by then ... | | Sacramento DDM http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=16854

| well DrakoonHarmtoucher i dont know the offical time (i am sure somebody knows ) but at portsmouth they are pretty cool about it and give us 20 - 30 minutes. this also gives late arrivals some time to get in.
i always have pour pulls and normally place 5th. the last 3 prereleases i had pour pulls but still managed to go to th place.
hopefully my luck changes this time. | | MY H/W LIST: http://www.maxminis.com/hwlist.asp?user=DNDJUNKIE HERE IS MY NEW TRADE REF LIST : http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=13587

I expect Orion72 and his brother are going to beat you up and take your Aspect and your lunch money.
We have 20 minutes officially to build our bands, but judges sometimes stretch that. If you do pull an Aspect, you won't need that much time anyway. BTW, I'm bringing all of our Epic maps, so just ask me if you need one.
See ya tomorrow! | | | |

| I expect to forget to use the Cadaver Collector's cone until just after the best time to used it has passed, like I did last night.
I expect using the real Tundra Scout to be less fun than using the Tusken on Bantha as a proxy, although I expect using Strike In The Air (a.k.a. "punt") to be hilarious and lead to a slew of new nicknames. SITA on Constructs = Kick the Can.
