I have a question for campaigns. I am a fighter lvl 8 and i was wondering if i could do combat expertise and power attack all on one turn. so say i take a -8 for each which adds to -16 atk, can i do that?

a) Wrong forum b) You can only take up to a -5 on Combat Expertise. Theres an improved combat expertise I think in some splatbook that lets you take more. c) I'd ask your DM. Some might interpret the limitations of Expertise and Power attack that the total cant exceed your attack bonus, others might let you trade away your attack bonus on each (with a max of 5 on expertise). I'd vote the latter myself, since theres nothing written in the rules that say you cant.
