| Edit: Contest will be closing Early today (June 30th, 2006)... it will be closing at 3:00pm Mountain Standard Time today. I tried to do something nice, but have been getting some nasty emails and have no desire to keep this open much longer; I want it done and over. So, get your guesses in quick.
And thanks to all those who have been upbeat and fun about this. But I'll definetly be thinking twice before doing anything like this again (i.e. a contest)... just isn't worth it.
I'll hopefully announce a winner by the time I leave work today at 4:00pm MST. And shipping is on me to whomever wins.

So what would you do if you found 14 cases of Harbinger in a warehouse?
Because I just did. A well-known national package company had 14 cases of Harbinger in their warehouse that they couldn't deliver years ago. They were sold to an outlet who regularly buys their stuff.
It has been sitting in this outlet's warehouse for the last several years until I, looking for some power tools (I regularly buy from this place for CHEAP $$$), saw them sitting in a corner.
Needless to say, I was EXCITED.
I asked them what they wanted for it... and I immediately said YES when they quoted the price to me for all 14.
The original purchaser of these cases has been compensated years and years ago, so please don't feel bad for them.
So, in order to share the wealth, I am going to give away ONE CASE of Harbinger (unopened) boosters to whoever can guess the EXACT (to the penny!) amount that I paid for each booster (so, divide my total purchase price by 14 cases and then again by the boosters!).
If no one guesses the exact amount, then I will give one deathknell booster to the person who is closest. I know, I know... quite a bit of difference, but the entire community should get pretty close. Take into account also when guessing that I probably didn't pay $347.45... it was a pretty flat number... but it did involve pennies. :)
Each person gets only ONE guess... any post with an edit is disqualified. I won't be giving any hints, except for this:
I paid $0.00 - $750 for all 14 cases.

It might not have hit you yet, but that's 14 cases of sealed Harbinger minis! You actually got enough tradeable figs to keep you stocked for possibly at least the next 10+ sets.
Expect a horde of email offers coming your way, and don't be surprised if some online shops make offers as well. You'll probably even consider not giving away a case once you read the offers.

| $2.25 per booster. Now what would I do with them? Probably try to sell them to whoever runs things for vintage tourneys. That'd be the best use of them. Beyond that selling on Ebay will get you a lot more pennies.
