| For multi-part sculpts, each piece is painted first then assembled. That's why if you take minis apart, you'll find that most of the joints are at least somewhat painted (most are completely painted).
I believe Shoe or Lidda commented that this was the case as well, but I'll be darned if I can remember what thread that was is. | |
