| all 4 I pulled had no gold paint - I haven't decided yet whether I'll bother trying to get replacements for the ones I'm keeping.

| I got a non-painted one too. Maybe Australia did indeed get the dud ones.
I'm not going to try to get it replaced. It's trade fodder anyway, and if the recipient wants to send it back to WotC for a prettier one then that's their perogative. | |

| It seems from the postings here that America got the gold-painted, and the rest of the world got the silver ones. Maybe the first production run, before WotC fixed the problem, was bound for Europe and Australia?
Does the offer to exchange them extend worldwide? I have some experience with a Wizkids game, and there broken figures are in principle only replaced within America. (maybe that has changed now, but that's the way it was some time ago) | |
