| | Well I fell off the wagon and I have managed to pick up 3 underdark, 2 angelfire and 1 wardrums booster so far. I'm currently thinking of ordering some deathknell cases here. I was wondering if anyone would happen to know the cheapest place to still get these. I was looking at getting 5 cases and reselling almost all the rares to pay for them. Cheapest I've been able to come up with is about $10.60 a booster with shipping. I realize I'm not going to get the under $100 a case when they first came out, but I'ld like to try to find them as cheap as possible. | |

| ~$10 a booster (not counting shipping) is about as cheap as I've seen them lately.
When War Drums came out, Deathknell cases were running around $85 + shipping. Seems they're appreciating rather quickly. | |

no kidding my FLGS just got in a couple of cases of underdark and deathknell and they are selling them for $18 a booster. I am wondering if its worth picking a few up. | | | |

I have been able to find underdark for under 100 per case. sounds like the gamestore is just trying to make extra on the side. | |

Not worth $18 a pop. Might be worth snagging a case off ebay for ~$115 or less and stashing it away for a rainy day. | |

| Well I got myself 2 cases and 2 loose boosters for 258 with shipping. So at the end of this week or the begining of next I should have 208 figures laying on the floor all around me.....

Well, then I am royally boned. I recently payed $21.55(this includes taxes) for a Deathknell booster. Although I was entirely happy with all 8 of my pulls(especially my Zombie White Dragon), if I pretty much wasted a fair bunch of money on a booster when I could have gotten a significant amount of a better deal elsewhere(internet, of course), then I feel pretty down. On the other hand, I am in Canada and everything is fairly expensive but let's say if I could have gotten a Deathknell booster for, to be on the safe side, even $4 or $5 less it would have greatly made a difference in the long run. If in my case it is actually perfectly normal and nothing to get worked up about to any real degree, then okay. But if not, then I have serious doubts about getting any other boosters from the store I am buying from now(only one to buy from locally, unfortunately). All of the boosters come to this total(they don't have WotDQ). Also, if hypothetically I were to buy from the store again, there are only 5 other Deathknell boosters left so my chances of getting another rare I would want are pretty small. I might go for Underdark or Abberations. Angelfire doesn't have a heck of a lot to offer me. Oh well. I'm quite glad this thread was made, otherwise I would have blindly been buying boosters with no real cautious outlook. Thank you all for establishing opinions that raise questions in my mind! | |

My friend, those pulls are a thing of beauty. You only got one crappy duplicate to 6 stupendous duplicates. You could just about pay for one case just by selling your dupes. If you're serious about unloading all your rares to pay for the cases, I think you'll manage it.

| Andy Collins and I just did a 4-for-4 swap of some of my excess War Drums boosters for some of his unopened Death Knell.
He got Warbound Impaler, Aspect of Hextor, Orc Wardrummer, and Aspect of Moradin.
I got Zombie White Dragon, Rask, Warpriest of Hextor, and Ambush Drake.
Pulls like that remind me that I've got enough Deathknell.
Now, if it would have been Boneclaw, Beholder, Scorpion, and Thaskor, I would have felt good about the trade... | |

Good to know that even the developers get a little miffed when they get a so so pull lol.
I was very surprised I got 2 beholders in two case. I'm keeping one for sure, but I'm giving some though of selling the other one. I didn't want to pay 40 for one of them, so I just bought the cases and hoped to get at least one. I did so well this time around, I'm have tempted to by another case lol | |
