| Alright, I know that Ian once suggested that he wanted to see the WotC area of the Mini's hall running 24 hours a day during Gen COn, but last I heard, they were uncertain of exact plans.
I was browsing around some documents though over on the Gen Con web site, and it appears that Gen Con themsleves were actively looking for a vendor to have a booth open in the minis hall to sell boosters and singles.
I hope this comes true... I'd love to spend the night of the con doing DDM league with everyone after the MaxMinis Draft!

| | gads...flashbacks to college days when we might have started a RPG session after dinner on Friday, played throught the night, took a food break around breakfast, got back at it all day and into saturday night with selected pizza breaks until everyone crashed sometime around midnight on saturday....It is amazing how much energy a case of Pepsi and a case of Sweet Tarts can give you (although ones teeth feel like sponges at the end of the day...it still gives my wifes the cringes to think about it...) | | Built the addition for this addiction, now on to the "gaming table" project.... http://www.maxminis.com/hw_list.asp?user=Zenako last updated 29 May 2006 Set Status: in a nutshell = all of all In Process trades 0), (Sig last updated 05/29/06) 300 plus Completed Trades -

Heh... I hear ya!
We SHOULD do it though... after all the "1st annual MaxMinis Draft" had us up till 4:00 am. Gen Con is but 4 days a year after all!

| why did i bother to get a hotel room. :)
Actually it was the last year GenCon was in Milwaukee, we played in a special High Level Living City Module that lasted 'till 8:00 AM from the night before. my group and i had always tried to get a midnight madness game going...but that was terrible. It basically tore us all up. I think that i'm getting too old for the no sleep stuff, or better, maybe i should get some extra sleep now.
either way I know league play will eat up all of my "extra" time at Gencon.

You're going to do fine. Just remember that the Orc Wardrummer doesn't have Waylay.

| | Even worse is all night Heroclix Saturday night. Not sleeping at all, then trying to drive all the way back to Atlanta -- by yourself. The next day around noon. I think it's a felony in some states. This year I got the room until Monday. | | Champion of Zarak - Evil Half-Orc Assassin | |

| Gaming all-nighters! Now that is a piece of teenaged-geek heaven. Ours was start around 6 pm on Friday night, break for pizza around 1-2 am, play 'til around 6 am, sleep/talk about something else, then pick up again and go 'til almost noon. Not quite as long as Zenako's group, but loads of fun nonetheless.
I look forward to living like that again at the Con. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

Damn... that means that League play ends at Midnight... Looks like pick up games!
