| The new WotC catalog has a picture of an Unhallowed booster depicting a black dragon on the front. Since we've had every other size, it must be a large. Also, Unhallowed will have 4 epics, one from each faction. It also has the 2005 Gen Con WC designed mini. 8 minis, $14.95, 12 in a case. March 9, 2007.
"This latest D&D Miniatures Game release includes several infamous D&D characters and popular D&D monsters. Undead and other creatures of darkness figure prominently in the set. Various figures are drawn from key D&D titles, including the Expanded Psionic Handbook and various Eberron and Forgotten Realms supplements. | Wow. Only 4 Epics. I thought we were settled on about 8-12 per set.
Too bad about the price increase. Woot! on the Large Black. Blood wars should have a large Metalic of some sort. | |

So maybe they're doing a special "Sorry we screwed up the last Huge Black Dragon with Crap, so here a special Huge in every booster without the back crap". :)

Very true...But Unhallowed is not a Huge set...So the only sizes left for Black in a regular set are Tiny and Large. And I doubt a Tiny Black Dragon (aka Black Wyrmling) is worthy of the box art. | |

Complete Scoundrel - Pretty much looks like a Complete book about scoundrels, hence the name

| Are you sure it's a living Black Dragon? IIRC, Draconomicon had Undead samples for the other 4 Chromatics: Vampiric Red, Zombie White, Blue Dracolich, Ghostly Green and Purple Horseshoes. I don't think there was an Undead Black, but any of those templates could be applied.
EDIT: How could I forget Skeletons? There was a Skeletal Black, but I guess one look at the pic will set us straight on that point. | | | |

I'm almost 100% positive that it's a living-acid-breathing black dragon, most likely large. I have a pretty good track record with identifying undead dragons. | |

| I like blacks, so no complaints about this... Some of those books sound great too... I'm very happy to see well done adventures by WotC again. I'll be picking those up. 3 part series even... I thought the days of the 3 parter were done!

The Huge Black Dragon (with the sorcerer) isn't much larger than the Large Red Dragon (it just has a bigger base and an unsightly growth) [:D]
I'd hazard a guess, based on current cross-marketing strategies, that Unhallowed will have a skeleton riding a skeletal horse. There will also likely be some undead lizardmen [:D] | |

| Hmmm It also looks like WotC "could" do another crack at having a single prerelease at WF, and then follow that up a week or even 2 later with a wider prerelease at local stores. Not sure that they would reveal full stats that far in advance, BUT, having it 3 weeks before the actual release would probably guarantee a wrap on the stats this time....

We did get a large bronze in war drums and then a large green in Drag Queen.
Almost seems like they are starting to limit the dragons so that they have longer before people say poo poo on the new crap only sets.
Which doesn't make sense to me... I want 10 different sculpts of each dragon / each dragon size. :)
So, just make them all and then make them all AGAIN :)
But the GBD is a great sculpt when compared to the rest of them!
