I made a prediction in the thread regarding outsiders in BW. My guess, however unpopular, is the abyssal ravager. We have a common abyssal maw and abyssal skulker, so this would complete the trifecta. It also fits well with the set theme. Would it be my first choice? No, but it makes sense.

Completed trades: Gausse, Mazra, Pagansexy, Galerians, Lord_Raven, Drakkengi, Temujinn x2, Random Sasquatch, elf_ranger, Azuretide, Hung4treason, Griffrat (face2face), Nasamonkey

Given the theme of the set, it may be a fiendish tavern table . . .

I think you must be right. It would be yet another Chainmail mini with no equivalent (especially since I happen to have a few) [:(]

Check into ImagiNext. They are all the same size as large DDM, the Minotaur is better looking than any DDM Minotaur, the Cave Men can be used for Hill Giants or Ogres, they have Lagr Skeletons, and the price is good.

I would like it to be a Displacer Beast so my Pack Lords would have something to play with....

Although that would be a great option I don't think they choose it.

What I want is a plain old club-wielding properly scaled ogre. Pot belly would be nice but is optional.

A simple ogre would rock, but I'm afraid it will be an animal-thing.

Gawd, please not another Ogre/big human. Give us something we don't have 6 incarnations of!!

While I don't necessarily have anything against Ogres, a smallish break (like the one we've had from say Gnomes-[:0]-Oops, I meant Drow) wouldn't be bad.

I think the line could use a bit of shake-up for a set or two before settling back into more familiar patterns.

if it's an animal, it'll be dire. i doubt a wolf, unless they do dire timber wolf. they already did a dire wolf and it was rare, right?

a brown bear would be nice to have something other than that dire bear for skirmishes.

if they make minotaur skeleton rare and skeletal equiceph uncommon, i doubt they'd do a large base skeleton as a common, even if it was an ogre. if you want a club weilding ogre, go for the ogre zombie.

another insect swarm would be nice. and a large base would be fine. that's the point, isnt it? that they spread out in a fairly large area?

but we all know they're reprinting either the displacer beast as a common or the beholder as a common. [)]
