| One week until the release of the Gargantuan Black...in light of all the downers lately-can I hear some shared excitement over this coming beast?
Perhaps a contest on who uses it first in a game...whose PC group kills one first...or gets killed by it.
Either way, I'm annoyed currently by trading and want to occupy my mind elsewhere.
Who else shares the excitement, for this, the Red and the blue, which seems the best sculpt of the three, from what wee little (hint Lidda or Shoe) that we have seen thus far. | |

| | I'm running a modified Shackled City Adventure Path in which one of the featured villains is Dhorlot the Dragon Father, a very powerful gargantuan black dragon who likes to create half-dragon offspring as experiments for creation of a half-dragon army. The players thus far have run into some of his experiments, and have heard rumors of wars between a neighboring dwarven kingdom and an army of half-dragon kuo-toa and half-dragon minotaurs led by small, medium and large black dragon leaders. When the players finally face off against Dhorlot directly, I'll have great need for this black dragon Icon to represent him, surrounded by a small swarm of medium and small black dragon minatures and black dragonspawn to represent half-dragons. | |

| I am looking forward to all three, the icons line seems to get just better and better, IMHO
The ad with the collosal red in the August issue Dungeon looks good, the sculpt looks really good close up. I like it even better without the flame attached, which is still a nice optional component. The blue looks good too, but I want to see a better picture.

| I am down for that dragon man! I wonder if they give it a line of acid longer than the current 12 square line? Or maybe they'll give it a line that is 12 squares long and 2 squares wide. Another reason to like the black dragons. In the draconomicon I think there's a picture of an adventurer walking through a bog to get to a dragon nest, and what he can't see is that one of the "logs" he's steping on is a big bloody dragon's head.

Amazon will (usually) ship the items separately if the time period for the delivery of the items varies a lot, so you might get the Black sooner than the Red's release.

| I can't wait for my pair to get here...the wife is making me a pair of bookends and the two GBDs are going to be the featured mini. She has assured me that they will be detachable and fully usable...

That's pretty darn cheap, especially considering the Colossal Red is still in the $60-$70+ range. Then again, the shipping and handling will make it a tad more expensive.
