The stirges I have on ebay got me to wondering about bidding wars and why people get caught up in them. I'm wondering what is the worst bidding war you've been a part of and, if you know, why you let yourself go that far.

For me, it's not that bad. $18.56 for an Orc Druid. A bit steep, but I rationalized it with the "I'm getting a lot of other stuff of this guy(Rav950)so I can save the difference on shipping. Of course I got a second a few days later for $5 and felt like a real chump.

So, what's your the worst frenzy for you?

Eye dun no why youse guys think im not relly a person im jimgang from canada but im moving to cali as soon as i get a master card

So, you stand at your grave, Has your soul yet been taken away?
So you can't read what's engraved, Is this Heaven or merely Decay?
Was there a light, enchantingly bright, A Question, just how did it end?
Just let me sift through your calm remains, And tear you away from your skin.

NEVER, although I've been attacked a few times.

Just follow the guidelines and bid you maximum price from the begining. The only problem is it leaves you vulnerable to sniping (when most of the attacks comes) but with the right change you can really screw up some of those. Adding that extra penny will sometime win you a bid and can make the next minimum bid more than an items is worth.

I spent about $30 CAN on a Harbinger Mind Flayer a while back...but I have spent more than that on individual singles since.

I spent $30 on Death in Freeport a couple of years ago when it was getting hard to find. I think it's average price was going around $10... whoops.
