| Well, this year I went to the Toronto Convention Centre for a viewing of my favourite sci-fi, horror and fantasy displayed in the form of comics, games, toys, movies and artwork. It's called Fan Expo found here http://www.hobbystar.com/hobbystar/Conventions.html. I got to see a demo of Hordes and Warmachine, but something seemed to be missing...
Although some vendors were selling ddm, I didn't see a WotC presence there. The long and short of it, I'm wondering if you're looking for people to organize and run these things in major cities? And figured you'd be the guy to ask. Thanks. | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | | My guess is that the Expo is not large enough to warrant their attention. It is, after all, in the wrong country, so would automatically be considered a seocondary market. | | Champion of the Flumph!!! | |

| I hate the fact that Canada is not considered as a market... Just the fact that they start selling sets on fridays makes us lose 4-6 days on the americans.

| | I'm not trying to bash them, just making wotc aware that a fan feels they should have a presence at this particular event and is willing to help out. | This may not be the best place to ask the question. You may want PMing him over on the WotC boards... or sending him an e-mail.
That said, the vast majority of conventions do not have a WotC presence. Don't take it so hard that WotC isn't showing up to this one. They didn't even make it to Origins this year.

| Hey Greyhaze,
I was also there and was hoping for some DDM presence but alas only one game on Friday, which I missed and only three retailers selling Angelfire up to WOTDQ booster at expensive prices.
I'm hoping for more WOTC presence in Canada in the future.

Actually,
there was one guys selling boosters are very cheap brices. WDQ for $20,
tax included, is a good deal. We bought him out, though, and the huges
were jank, so you didn't miss anything.

| Hey Sulaco,
I can get WOTDQ boosters for just under $20 anytime at 401 GAMES. They also have some cheap prices for singles through they have more cards then minis...
That's why I passed on the boosters.

| $20 tax included is a slightly better price than 401 offers.
