or have a clue regarding your masterful rant about the WotC box of
D&D Minis Money. It was a true work of art.

I had heard that Set 13 was titled "Root of All Evil." I thought it had Archdevils in it or something.
I can just encourage our non-American friends to be patient. After all, this is only 1/20th of the set.

| Seattle, WA. 9/25/06: To day in Renton, WA a Program Manager working for the international Hasbro company Wizards of the Coast, was arrested by Fedural Agents. When questioned the Agents informed reporters that Ian Richards of Renton, WA was being investigated for illegal international money production. It seems that under the guise of 'alternative paint miniatures' Richards was passing counterfeit money onto unsuspecting D&D Miniatures players all over the world. This had the effect of eroding the international money exchange and caused lack of confidence the athenticity of paper money in a few countries. As yet reporters do not know the number of currencies hit or markets affected but it is believed to be considerable.

Back in the day, maybe as far back as Harbinger, I got really fed up
with what seemed non-stop complaining on the Wizards boards and I sorta
snapped, posting something along the lines of "If WotC were to put out
a box full of free money there'd still be people who'd come on the
messgae boards to complain about how it's folded."
The phrase become notorious and was oft-quoted as a display of
frustration at incessant complaining. I guess now it is fading from
memory and is a distant part of DDM history.
Oh well, even if that one does fall off the map I still have "The Sniglets."

I think it comes from the fact that WotC is owned by one of those faceless corporations. I think it comes from the fact that folks like Rouse like to spin instead of be up front with information. (Like Lidda for example) If Lidda can't tell us something she will be honest and direct about telling us. I think it comes from the fact that, other than from a WotC perspective, there was no huge outcry or need for a new edition of D&D. I think I would like WotC to give me a one hundred dollar bill. | | WotC - making me wish more and more every day for a return to the TSR days. :( I fought the snark and the snark won.
