In answer to the question, what is spring revel, visit this site http://www.consupport.com/index.asp?Con=57 and check it out.
Our FLGS in Sydney ran it's first "Sydney Challenge" tournament in Dec 05, and picked up a lot of the promos from the 2005 Spring Revel, thanks to WOTC.
Sadly, this year, we held our second Sydney Challenge in August. WOTC again supported the event, but we didn't score any of the promos that were released in October with the 2006 Spring Revel Down Under.
Maybe we better run Sydney Challenge #3 in November next year?

Spring Revel Downunder is a convention held in Australia every October. It's a Hasbro con, featuring lots of RPGA games and a D&D Mini's league event. And, everyone who comes to the con gets a showbag of promo mini's - 12 this year (but not everyone got 12 different cos we ran out of most of the older ones).

you could just come to Spring Revel :-) Two WotDQ boosters
for $40, plus the showbag of promos for everyone who showed up - that's
a good deal in anyone's language.
Next year Spring Revel won't be in Sydney, but for 2008 and beyond it
just might make a permanent home there - if the Hasbro high-ups will
let me do that.

Bring it to Canberra - won't happen. It's not in the company's profile (don't ask).
I'd be perfectly happy to have it in Canberra - I wouldn't have to travel to get to it .
