| White dragon !!! OOOOhh yeah ! This one was lacking and I'll have much use for it. Just hope it's better painted than the dragoneye one, and not too small (as whites are the smallest of all IIRC)
And the valenar cavalry will make some people happy here, a mounted mini but with a normal horse. Would be expecially great if it's uncommon, but I suspect it will be rare... | |

| I'm much more excited about the calvary than the dragon - dragons are cooler but it's a matter of supply and demand. I would love for the calvary to be an uncommon, but I would guess rare.

| A unique medium white dragon?
I've long been a proponent of the idea that all rare dragons should have been unique. It would have allowed them to release multiple large red dragons without being too duplicative. As dragons are highly adaptable, two large red dragons can be very different.
However, a unique medium white dragon is not terribly adaptable. It doesn't have spells. It doesn't have any special unique abilities. Further, it can't have more than 14 HD. If you went down a list of dragons to nominate for a unique dragon figure, the medium white would be very low on my list... perhaps the lowest realistic option that exists. If this is the start of a trend, I applaude WotC. If it is an aberration, it is a bizarre aberration.Â
That being said: I love the idea of getting a medium white dragon figure. A 4th to 6th level party can get a challenge out of facing 1. Groups of 2 or 3 can keep a party of levels 7 to 9 challenged. If you manage to get 4 or 5, a 10th to 11th level party can be kept busy.Â
As for the mounted valenar - I'm cautiously optimistic. The valenar commander is a rather distinct looking figure. If the mounted valenar is as distinct, he may be difficult to work into most campaigns. I'd rather have seen a brigand in leather armor with a longsword mounted on a light war horse... somethat that tends to see a lot of action in many campaigns... especially if they were able to make him as an uncommon.
Of course, these are minor complaints. But, in such a strong set, I guess you have to take any opportunity to complain... | |

| The Valenar Cavalry isn't fake. It hasn't been confirmed for this set, but concept art for it was shown at GenCon along with others which have all been confirmed for this set. It's not much of a leap to think the VC is in Blood War too, whether it's a 'Mounted Valenar Scout' or not.
The White Dragon might be a fake, we'll known in the next few days. Either way, Ethandrul has put himself in a bad position.
As for LoB... there is an Eberron Unique confirmed for this set, and Shoe did say it would be a 'unique situation' if we got another Warforged this soon. There are two open slots in LE between Large Water Elemental and Mezzoloth, so it's entirely possible. | | | |

Yes, but opinions that are aired become stances, and are thus arguable. In two years on these boards, I have never been this angry-nor have I ever seen such a blatant and arrogant insult to the other members of these boards.

Of all the fan boards I skin (and many are the ways of the nerd in me), This board is the one site that has always been reliable and dependable. Always. Is it "funny" if someone begins posting whatever random false information they come up with? Is it a contest to see who gets the most discussion started?

| Or you guys can just wait to see the magazine yourself like you should be doing rather than trusting the board without pictures in the first place. Now I'm not saying what he did was right, but it was kinda funny. I mean you guys are so excited that you are starting to take everything said here as truth. The only thing we can trust is Wizards and Pictures.
Sure if you want to trust someone on the forums it is your own fault, but Ethandrul didn't even post it here. You guys are so hungry for previews that you are taking information that might not be reliable, but that is half the point of the forums.
I used to be fine with Wizard's previews, of which I would wait for the gallery which was long after the poster is released. Here the mentality is different. I think everyone should use this as a reality check. Right now, for unreleased sets all we have are rumors. We have to wait for more solid proof.
Moral of the story: Don't trust everything you read on the forums.
Frankly, I don't trust the fiendish snake or Lord of Blades right now. I like hearing what is being talked about, but there are no pictures of either. So I am not getting my hopes up. | |

Mainly because he made the statement on the wizards board not here. It was copied here, buy someone else innocently.
If the statement was originally made here I would agree with a short suspension. As it is it would be up to the wizards board to take any actions.
Banning would be over reaction to the original post even if it was made on these boards.
Suspension is a serious punishment. I have been suspended myself in the past. Of corse my post was much funnier and involved Warforged and Candy Asses. 
I would suggest that a more understanding tone from him in his responses after the fact would have been appriciated.
Of corse this is just my 2 cents worth.
