| I really don't like how oversized the centaur is compared to previous centaurs. The biggest problem from increasing the base size is they have increased sculpt size on too many figures. I think it's stupid oversizing things.

I agree. Too bad the face/head looks so strange. I'm not saying the mini has to be beautiful. They could do an average looking female or not so average and it could have been good. This one looks cartoony.

| Hammerer = crappy figure and crappy common.
$0.10 each is my prediction for pricing in the long term. Deathknell's Giant Frog will be easier to get rid of. 
Most of this set is VERY good. I can't complain too much about a few bad eggs in comparison to some of the other set lists we've seen recently.

| A short RPG-ers point of view:
Elf Dragonkith - Great figure for an Elven elite warrior or king going to war. Love the variety WotC, kind of remembers me of the Dragoneye Thayan Knight.
Half-Orc Spy - Best looking Half-Orc to date. makes me want to make an Half-Orc Rogueish PC.
Hammerer - Cute low level common. Was hesitant at first but love the interpretation of the MM2 artwork they did.
Air Genasi Swashbuckler - Wow, very impresive sculpt. Hope they will do earth and water soon.
Centaur War Hulk - Bit out of proportion with the older centaurs. Love the pose and concept, but would have preferred a lance instead of the glaive/halberd he's wielding. Nice, but could have been better.
Hero of Valhalla - Aye, Odin owns ye all! Drommefanger! Great stuff, looks like an awesome common. WotDQ gave us the common pirate, BW gives us a common viking, what's next?
Medium Copper Dragon - Love the fact that he's uncommon . great to see the complete sculpt. very nice!
Shadowdancer - She's falling! Another rogue sculpt to add to the guilds. Not overly impressed.
Dragonmark Heir of Deneith -Â Looks like crap, trade fodder.
Acheron Goblin - Common Goblin, what's not to like?
Greenspawn Sneak - Looks good, one of the best Dragonspawn to date. Great detail on the head. Could be some elite warrior from the poison dusk lizardfolk clan as well. Much better than I expected.
Karsite Fighter - Could be used as some blackguard, otherwise its just another Sword and shield human.
Mercykiller - Has to be a hobgoblin, right? Can't think of anything else. Looks kind of cartoonish, but have to see it in hand.
Souknife Infiltrator - Ok, I get that WotC wants to bring out clear plastic psiblades, but this mini is way to niche-specific to bring out a second one. We allready have a Xeph Souknife!
Ethereal Marauder -Â Impressive, WotC couldn't have done a better job here!
Green Slaad -Â Bit of a weird facial expression, but it's an uncommon slaad! No complaints here.
Howler - Yet another chase rare, awesome!
Owlbear Rager - After years of D&D I still think the Owlbear concept is ridiculous, but this rager is a great representation of one nevertheless. I'll take only one anyway.

| Some thoughts:
Elf Dragonkith - A very unique, creative design for a figure. This could be a good BBEG, or a high-level elf, or just a cool king-ish type.
Half-Orc Spy - This guy and the halfling sneak make a matched pair.
Hammerer - Wasn't one of these in Mage Knight? Steam Golem?
Air Genasi Swashbuckler - This figure is really, really incredible. I mean, wow, that's a miniature you can show "lay people" to justify your hobby.
Centaur War Hulk - The first centaur was bland, the second was goofy, and this guy has too much armor. Aside from that, I think he looks good.
Hero of Valhalla - THAT'S a common!?!?? It looks more complex than the Trog barbarian or Witchknife! THAT is a common? Anyway, pirates versus vikings in similar numbers will be fun.
Medium Copper Dragon - Holy crap good.
Shadowdancer - Decent, not a bad figure, but not the best, either. I like the variety in pose, and it's a core prc, but it doesn't do much for me.
Dragonmark Heir of Deneith -Â I have no opinion. She's bland, so her stats will change the game.
Acheron Goblin - I love hordes of common goblins. I love this guy.
Greenspawn Sneak - Would make a great Poison Dusk proxy if we didn't already have one.
Karsite Fighter - Good BBEG or high-level PC fodder.
Mercykiller - I like his cartoonish look, actually. it's nicely old school, and better than the Harmonium Guard.
Souknife Infiltrator - Whats-her-name from War Drums will like having a friend with Psionics, and... oh, dang. Wrong faction.
Mezzoloth - I want one. I so want one. Cockroachy goodness!
Ethereal Marauder - I have wanted one of these figures since I got into miniatures. it is exactly what I wanted.
Green Slaad - Another figure I really like - I have no trouble with the facial expression, and I think it fits the Slaad perfectly. I had expected him to be skinnier and armored, but this is actually better.
Howler - This is more of a holy crap good than the dragon. It just looks so awesome! Totally different form the source art, but I was worried about those spines, anyway. I wonder what it looks like from the front.
Owlbear Rager - Remember the Ducksnake in OotS? Owlbears are inherently similar, but getting a new one was on the top of my list. I wish it were uncommon. I wish it were uncommon. I wish it were uncommon. | |

Elf Dragonkith - Nice looking mini, but a rare? I wonder what the stats will be.Â
Half Orc Spy - Interesting for LG. As an Uncommon it might be useful.Â
Hammerer - Another construct, as if LG does not have enough of them. Looks like an ugly dwarf in funky armor. Probably not too useful common. May be ok in Sealed event.Â
Air Genasi Swashbuckler - Now heres a mini I like. Very cool sculpt. I hope his stats are usable.Â
Centaur War Hulk - Woot, another Centaur, and a Rare to boot. I'm happy with this one. He might be a good compliment to the Wemec Barbarian.Â
Hero of Valhalla - Now thats a nice looking Viking! Me like this one for a common in CG.Â
Medium Copper Dragon - Nice looking medium dragon.Â
Shadowdancer - meh uncommon. Not sure what she'll bring to the table for CG.Â
Dragonmark Heir of Deneith - An uncommon female fighter. Not too bad.Â
Acheron Goblin - More Common Goblins. As if there were not enough. Not too bad a sculpt though.Â
Greenspawn Sneak - Another spawn. Looks like a nice mini. Probably only useful in spawn warbands. Needs to play with Tiamat.Â
Karsite Fighter - Me like this uncommon. I hope his skirmish stats are useful.Â
Mercykiller - Nice looking uncommon. Looks like another orc of some sort.Â
Mezzoloth - Woot woot. Here's one I've been waiting for. I like and its an uncommon. A nicce addition to LE. I hope its stats make it skirmish playable.Â
Soulknife Infiltrator - A meh uncommon.Â
Ethereal Marauder - Looks and sounds alot like naother mini from a previous set, but I just cannot put my hands on what one. Another LE uncommon, well thats ok by me.Â
Green Slaad - Freeking yea! A very nice surprise. Looks like Kermit on steroid rage, but I like this one. I just hope he's not another Red Slaad stat wise (ie useless).Â
Howler - Very nice Rare addition to CE. Here's one I hope is really skirmish playable.Â
Owlbear Rager - Finally another Owlbear. I like the sculpt, a very nice large. For a rare I hope he is pretty tough.Â
