| | I've only one complaint about the Green Slaad...
It's much bigger than the Blue and Red Slaadi, and it also seems much more muscular. My complaint: it looks nothing like the source art.
That said, I will still want five. | | Completed trades: Brenigin, desiderata, HockeyFan, MikeyChraal, Raland, GuJiaXian

| | Yeah, bring on the snake. Haven't seen anything of it, myself. As for the others, from first glance, the Ethereal Marauder most definitely catches my eye the most. The pose practically a perfect match with the MM is a nice touch. As for the Green Slaad, isn't it supposed to be green, not yellow? | | Champion of the Prismatic Golem

| This set honestly looks fantastic.Â
However, can anyone lead me to the picks of these minis: Dwarf Sniper Soldier of Bytopia Phoera Bluespawn Stormlizard Fiendish Snake Skeletal Reaper.Â
I can't seem to find these and am trying to figure out how many of each mini I am going to need from this set.
This is the first set that I did not pre-order for. I am thinking now that this was a bad move for there seems to be many which could be considered chase rares and even uncommons. I am trying to figure out if I should try and complete this set by single purchases or if I may need to pick up a few cases after all. | | Give me more MIND FLAYERS!

| | Having now seen the rest of the set list and poster scans of same, this set does look now like a very strong set. In particular, it has a very high number of highly desirable rares. It may even be the best set yet in that regard. If the actual paint jobs are as good as we are seeing in the previews and poster scans, or at least pretty close, then the overall quality of the minis is very strong as well in most regards (with few exceptions such as marilith). The one area where this set doesn't seem as strong is in the selection of commons. Unlike War of the Dragon Queen, which had a very good selection of commons, it looks like this set has several which really should not have been commons, such as hammerer, kobold monk and others. Still, over all the set is looking pretty solid. | | | |

The one area where this set doesn't seem as strong is in the selection of commons. Yup, Angelfire syndrom.

| Posted By calvar on 10/21/2006 8:21 AM If the green slaad is large, then I think is way oversized. It's definitely large, I saw one at a convention yesterday. Very large, very green (it seemed a lot greener than the picture on the poster, but that might have been the light), and very muppet-esque, but still very cool.

Green Slaads are large however their described as being tall and gangly so they shouldnt be broad and built like the Blue Slaad from GOL | | Champion of the Zhentarim: Manshoon, Fzoul and Scyllua Darkhope

| Nice set. Methinks I have too many minis since with the exception of the Hellcat I just want one of everything.
I am happy that my pack of (Chainmail) Howlers now could see skirmish use.
The biggest surprise for me with this set is the very large number of MM1 monsters and highly-clamored for resculpts. It's almost like WotC is listening to us...
Oh, and I'm confused, since there's no Large Good Dragon. The medium looks nice, but I wasn't expecting WotC to change their dragon release pattern. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. | There's even a large number of Chainmail equivs. If we actually see the official equivs done caught up, it'll be time to start building the bomb shelter....

very. I mean it is super cool that we are getting an uncommon owlbear,
but it is too bad looks so damned dorky. Nowhere near as nice as the

| I agree withy Sulaco and the Count.
Our new Owlbear isn't nearly as nice a sculpt as the Harbinger one...which I guess is why I have 4 of those and will only need 1, maybe two of the new one. | | "What is to give light must endure burning" -Viktor Frankl
