Skeletal Reaper:
This twisted animation of a bralani eladrin was once a champion of hope and freedom - but is now a scion of fear and pain.
(No one seemed to remember this text when we were guessing at the bralani's preview silhouette. I guess everyone who got one at GenCon took one look and threw it in a shoebox, like I did.)
Phoera:
A phoera rises from the ashes of a phoelarch, but remembers nothing of its progenitor's proud defense of freedom.
(Would a Phoelarch be worth 60 pts if you could place a Phoera for free after its deathburst?)
Fire Giant Forgepriest:
Burning with rage and hard as iron, forgepriests bring the might of Surtur, god of fire giants, to bear on their foes.
(How sweet would a Huge-sized Aspect of Surtur be?)
Centaur War Hulk:
War hulks never lead centaur tribes, but they make excellent guardians for those who do.
Greenspawn Sneak:
"What we see, so sees the Dragon Queen. What we hear, she hears. What we kill, she leaves to us to eat."
(The spawn in WotDQ all had flavor text referring to Tiamat as the 'dark queen', now she's the 'Dragon Queen'. Bit of irony. Or maybe I'm just weird.)
The Living Flaming Sphere text mentions Eberron-specific events. The other texts have been printed elsewhere, or weren't terribly interesting. The Ethereal Marauder cracked me up, and edges out the Orc Wizard's as best text of the set. | | | |

| | Well, you have to get a good mental picture of it. The Marauder pops in, grabs Lidda, and pops out. While the other heroes are going, "Where's Lidda? What was that?" She and the marauder keep popping in and out of the material plane, fighting like Looney Tunes characters - you know, frying pans, hammers, the whole deal. | |
