| With up to a 100 a side I have used simialr ruleset to normal skirmish, giving every unit squad activation which worked okay.
Not sure how well it would scale up (most of the groups had between 6-10 of same type) | |

| After defeating the baron's troops, the Hobgoblins return to their stronghold; a ruined castle rumored to sit atop a network of cellars which the Hoblgoblins have surely added to. The baron has received extra troops from the royal army, and according to the Manticore, they are marching toward the Stronghold.

Dimitris: Thanks for the links! I had read Drammattex's write up a while back, and am planning on aquiring Heroes of Battle for our game. Even though I really like to set these up, I'm sure they would be a nightmare to run (in complexity and time)

| After a vicious battle, and an ultimate victory over them by the Baron's troops, the tattered remnants of the Hobgoblin forces flee the stronghold through hidden tunnels, taking only what meager possessions (and prisoners) that they can carry with them. They move southward in search of an new home, though vowing to return with vengeance for the hated Baron.

| No real story to speak of, Jeff - just checking out the how some of the new drow looked with the older ones... But since you asked:
Nienna and Targonis of House Noumidia (top pic, far left) are returning from a secret negotiation with the local duergar clan to the drow city of Ched Nasad with thier escort. If thier plan is successful, they will monopolize the introduction and trading rights of a rare and exotic spice that the duergar have access to, which would enrich thier house, as well as boosting its position in the hierarchy of Ched Nasad society. House Ketara has caught wind of thier plan, and has set up an ambush for the envoys, with the goal renegotiating a deal with the deurgar to provide House Ketara with exclusive rights to the spice.
