After telling my wife that I decided to at least order 3 cases of Unhallowed (I was seriously contemplating going the singles route on this set) so we could open some packs, she told me to post that she was unhappy that there are no orcs (again!) in this new set.  Please don't make that mistake again... let there be at least one orc in Night Below!

I thought this post was going to go in a worse direction by the title. Like...I bought 3 cases and my wife was mad I spent so much or the like. It must be nice to be married to a fellow gamer if she's complaining about the lack of orcs.

Completed trades: blackthorne, Drakkengi,Thorgrin, Ironfist Boulderbender x2, ckissee, nasamonkey, Username, Star, Ace13 x3, emontedodger x2, Drconveyor, church, Joeyb, Sir Bozak The Damned, Xeromod, the other guy x2, Qucalion of Celene, Dagaron x2, berus316, qillan_dvra, AshloreDarkShadow

She is not really a gamer.  She will dkirmish with me every once and awhile, so I can't complain.  And she likes CE... especially orcs.  She has more fun opening my packs though!

Everything in moderation. I'm cool with an orc or two, but please, no hordes of Orcs.

I'm agreeing with Teflon on this one. Even though I have a thing for orcs, two for a set sounds like the right number.

Since its been a while since we had some low pointers, how about a 4pt orc archer, and/orc 3pt orc foot soldier?

Not too sure about a 4 pt orc archer, unless it's making its ranged attack at -2.  The Elf Warrior is 4 pts, but it's in CG.

Pathetic Earthlings. Hurling your bodies out into the void - without the slightest inkling of who or what is out here. If you had known anything about the true nature of the universe - anything at all - you would have hidden from it in terror.

If I had started this thread it would have been about my girlfriend being unhappy about the amount of money I spend on mini's - not the lack of orcs. You're a lucky man shoe.

I was about to say it's been too long since we've seen one, forgetting the one in Blood War! Every other set at this point seems like a good frequency.

I think all orcs we got are really cool except the morris-dancer from archfiends.

it's about time for a common orc archer though (4-5 points sounds right). 1-2 Orcs per set sounds cool with me,

I don't think we should have 2 orcs every set but every 2-3 sets should have a total of 3- orcs. if they need to put 2 in 2 sets, then none in two, I'm fine with that.

A few more archers or ranged weapon users spread around the various monsters wouldn't be a bad idea either.

An orc gatekeeper would be sweet. The more I read on the setting, the more interested I'm getting and a few more from that setting would be nice (barring warforged. Although I have no problem with them I'm feeling a little saturated for some reason.)

My wife is outraged at the price of the mini's.  I "only" bought two cases and she has commented several times about the, over $200 cost.  There were the other queries... "How many times a year are you going to buy these things?"  "Don't you have enough?" etc.

I was compelled to get her a $200 gift cirtificate to Pier-One to reach some sort of parity...home furnishings and decorations are definatly a better use of our money than my silly miniatures >>rolls eyes<<.  Bring on the candles and baskets, Lol.

My girlfriend goes clothes shopping every four months and spends more than she normally does - because she knows she can get away with it.

The first example of "wife points" (can apply to any spouse/SO if one games and the other doesn't) I've heard of for DDM.  I usually see it when one partner wants to go to a con and leave the other for the weekend, with added costs if kids are involved.

LoL, besides an Orc or two, I'm actually missing Drow. After the first four sets I thought I'd never want to see one again, then again the next set is 'Night Below' somehow I'm betting we'll be seeing one or two then.

Yeah, I'm laughing about it but I'm going to have to put my foot down next release because she brought it up several times, jokingly...but busting my stones, clearly she thinks it's a huge waste of money.

Thing is I make 90% of our income and she SPENDS 90% of our income.  That's fine...I don't question her when she buys optionional home decorations, wall hangings, lamps, baskets, etc. I don't value that stuff but I try not to view it as 'wasting" money...it's stuff she values.  (advice to all husbands...let it go...wives buy things you would never buy...as long as they aren't maxing the credit card, you just have to let it go).

I'm just going to have to calmly remind my wife that it goes both ways...and don't make me call on the Aspect of Foo to come and lay down the law.  >>GRIN<<

Does the Aspect of Foo have Foobar placeholder powers as well? Or is it just a mighty drummer?

In all seriousness, good luck with this.
