Hi All, I thought I'd share a cool idea some of our group is going to try out that we're calling Bloodbath (1000) We're going to put two maps side-by-side and have four people create a one thousand point warband each. You're allowed twelve figures instead of eight and as long as they're not icons, anything goes. There are no victory points and there is no time limit and it is not an officially sanctioned game, but it sure is fun making up such a powerful army. Obviously, there are certain rules that needed changed a little, but all in all it seems like it should work out. Other than the fact that there will be dozens of creatures and possibly several duplicates all on the board at once, we think it should run smoothly. Oh yes, last "man" standing wins. But, that doesn't mean alliances can't be made or broken, ; ^ ) - Colin

Sounds like fun, but any "everyone for themselves" fight with multiple participants favours the team that waits for the others to fight it out first then sweep in and eat the survivors. Setting victory points for bold actions balances this fairly well.

we have done 2000 point 12 act warbands but only 1vs1, we haven't played multi-player in a long time because as previously mentioned last man in wins.

Imagine 1000 pts in Star Wars minis, where there is no activation limit, and only one mini breaks the 100 pt mark - the AT-AT.

Some friends of mine regularily play 500-700 pts starwars, and often more than a 1000 too.
