With the renewed popularity of my worst Epic card poll I figured why not tackle things from a positive spin. With that in mind what do you think is the best card they have produced so far?

| | I do like a few of them. I've played the Aspect of Lolth and she's done well for me. Guenhwyvar and the Storm Archer are pretty good. My pick though was Lord Soth, a card I've played before and will do so again. He's a lot of points but in the right warband has a lot of upside. | | | |

| Storm Archer. I't the only one I've seen viably played in Epic (which is an admittedly small group, but still...)

| Posted By Thenameless on 04/11/2007 2:36 PM Storm Archer. Very hard to beat unless you meta specifically against them. Darn right. Every Epic band I make has to account for storm archers just in case. Limits my options like no other epic card.
I did get to abysal blast two of them with Epic lord Soth teh other night though - hell spike made for a match up very much in my favour.
Werewolf lord havent used yet, but looks good.
I like mordy and mount paladin. (though giving up mordy thanks to the storm archers)
The storm archers are insanely good. | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer." | | I'm going to say Storm archer here. The Werewolf Lord looks promising though, so I'll have to try that next. | | "GameKnight Games and Cool Stuff Winnipeg's source for RPGs and minis!" www.gameknight.ca

| | Had to vote for the Storm Archer, but I think the Werewolf Lord looks good and Soth is relatively solid. Most of the rest are pretty stinky, though I've used Mordy to decent effect on occaision. | | Eye dun no why youse guys think im not relly a person im jimgang from canada but im moving to cali as soon as i get a master card -Jimgang So, you stand at your grave, Has your soul yet been taken away? | As will be the trend the answer must be the Storm Archer. It may be for an uncommon but is arguably the best ranged piece in epic.
I'd definitely give Lord Soth an honorable mention and believe at least a few others are playable or better but in most of those cases other options also exsist.

| | I would say the Archer is great and if you combine Guenhwyvar with Drizzt he's strong too. Then GDK knows some tricks, too. | | 2007 & 2008 Czech Republic Champion 2008 Czech Republic's Player of the Year
