| Amazon.com has a picture of the Scenario Pack. I don't expect this to be the final look of the box though, since Drizzt is not to be seen.
I like the sculpt but can't guess what's between his legs. On the cover of "The Crystal Shard" he's wearing a helmet, and he isn't dressed all white. This is giving him a plain look judged by the picture. I hope for more details once a close-up picture will be seen.
Now I'm waiting for Drizzt. I was a little bit afraid WotC would have him sculpted with his scimitars sheathed and using a bow. That's what he did in the novel when fighting Icingdeath, if I remember correctly. However, if they won't change his skirmish-stats, that wouldn't make sense.
Here's the link to the Amazon-picture:

| | Good to see Wulfgar finally. I wonder how they will execute the scenario between Drizzt/Wulfgar and Icingdeath. Will the two character epics equal 500 pts, or is there a different twist like they must survive a few rounds? | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

| My guess would be that the object that looks like it in between Wulfgar's legs isn't really between his legs, and is actually Drizzt's head. The packaging on the box would be obscuring Drizzt's body if this is the case...at least it looks like it could be a head to me.

| Yes it does look like a head or helm.
I wonder if it will drizzt & wulfgar (who I kinda expect to be a Kord plus [] ranged) will add up to 500 too. I'm also hoping for something diffeerent dragonstyle, than just same stats as the other two.

| | It doesn't seem like he could have the same stats. The sword he gets after killing icingdeath is where the cold damage on his first stats come from. Didn't he get his second sword later in the story too? Maybe there is a map area that allows them a one time, save or die vs. the icicle. I think we will have to ignore logic. :/ Drizt will have the stats of after battle for the battle {shrug}
Ilike the idea of Icicle terrain.

That sounds right. Twinkle comes much later in the time-line. Too bad, as it would have been nice to have slightly different version of Drizzt - one with a ranged attack. He is in the right faction for it after all. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

| You know... doesn't it seem bizaar that these two figs are supposed to be able to take on a gargantuan white by themselves, while a whole warband can't do the GBD? Then on top of that, the white should be the eldest and thus most powerful of that size at that size?

| Hello,
It is Drizzt's head. After looking at the original picture for a bit I can see that. The reason it is not obvious is due to the camera angle and the lack of any other point that provides scale between the minis. The mounting of the minis in the box would appear to be set up such that Wulfgar is more visible (mounted on a higher point in the plastic) with Drizzt lower down.
Based upon the angle, the pose of Drizzt could be very similar to the original. He was looking sideways there as well.
Cheers

Just a thought.
I don't know what is going to happen with the set, but from other sources:
1) Icingdeath is Huge, not Gargantuan (Dragons of Faerun) 2) They defeat him by crashing a giant stalagtite through him.
Now it made sense to make the Icon Gargantuan, and maybe when it comes out you'll need more figures to really take it on. We'll see.

Between Wulfgar's legs, there is a white splotch. On the more right side of the picture, there is a little black, curved point going through it. The top half of that is his ear while the bottom is the side of his face which has a bit of hair coming down close to. | | Champion of the Prismatic Golem

Wow. That pic looks pretty good, but really doesn't do the dragon justice - you really have to hold it to get the full effect. It's pretty close to the final box (we made a couple of minor improvements since that picture was taken). You can definitely see Drizzt in the final box, which is good because the Drizzt sculpt will also make everyone happy.

Someone already hit the nail on the head here regarding the available image.
And yes, there's a scenario that involves Drizzt and Wulfgar fighting Icingdeath, where there's a reasonable chance the dragon will lose. It doesn't exactly follow the script of the book, though.
