| The only way I'm buying a case is if the Commons in this set are INCREDIBLE. I've got way too many Changeling Rogues and Dwarf Battleragers stinkin' up my trade box.
As it stands, I'll probably be down for half a dozen boosters at our Midnight Release Party, 4 or so boosters at sealed events, and eBay and trading for the rest. Then again, I've been in it since Harbinger, so I guess it's no surprise that I'm losing momentum.
What is it about Night Below that makes you want to buy a case, that the previous sets didn't have?

| I'll probably cough up the cash for a half-case; I'll go in on a large order with a bunch of other guys.
I'll probably also try to get in on a pre-release, or a post-release event, and see if I can walk away with some extras.
Then, it's all about the trading.

My wife doesn't control my money so deeply (at least by now). She just thinks my childish (considering I'm 39) hobby is a waste of time. I'm thinking of getting around 20-24 common Kuo-Toas, apart from other minis and so I would need 5-6 cases. The rest I won't use I'll keep to sell later on eBay. Another option is to buy exactly what I need through eBay which is a cheaper way, but who knows? It all depends on my situation at the present time.
Anyway, don't be so alarmed. Some people buy more cases than me. Just take a look at the thread called:
Official New Pics of Your DDM COllection Thread
at the following link:

and calculate how cases some of them got considering the rares they show (although they could have bought them single, but I'm not sure they all have).

| | Trading is not a good option for me. I live in Spain. Most of the trades in the forum are run in the States or quite close as Canada, your country. I would have to spend a lot of money in mail potage. I know I also spend a lot buying so many cases, but I expect to save enough from my future sales in eBay. I hope so. | |

| I'm undecided as of yet. I had been in the habit of buying one case then hoping for some prizes and finishing up with singles. The last few sets I have had so many commons and uncommons to try to get rid of that it has been frustrating. Even as we speak I've got some lots of U/C minis on eBay that I couldn't trade away.
I may go more in the singles direction this go around. | |

| I wasn't impressed at all with Unhallowed when I saw the previews. I waited about a week after release to order my cases. When I got them and saw the minis for the first time, I was really impressed by them. Maybe I'll do the same with NB so I'll appreciate them more 
I don't know how many cases I'll buy. It's really frustrating that the prices went up so much ($20 more per case) and the resell value of minis is going down. So we don't get as much for what we paid for as we did just last year.

Before I saw any UH, I was a little hesitant about this practice but in the end I was extremely pleased by it. With NB, there is no question a case is a good idea. It's already shaping up to be a nice set. | |

| Same as always. 1 case at release, then another case about a mnth later, and probably a third case through boosters, release/limited events.

| I hope eventually to get a case. Night Below is the release that falls at an inconvenient time of year for me, though. Father's Day comes too early, and there are no other holidays in the near future after the release, so I can't generally expect minis as gifts. And for one reason or another, summer is always when I have to tighten the belt and control my hobby spending. The first release, I can count on a tax return to fund my minis purchase. The third release, I can count on a birthday/Xmas gift of minis. The second release, I probably have to buy piecemeal on e-bay.

That's the problem I'm having - nobody in my area to split a case with (of course, then it would end up 2 cases in all likelihood)...most of my old gaming group moved away, and those that are left don't have the money for minis... | |

8-10? Jeez. That's impressive and insane. What do you do with all of them, especially since you must have so many extras?

too late for me to back down, I am here since harbinger and I always get 8 to 10 cases no matter how the set looks, I think there are some so so minis but all in all I end up liking all the sets pretty much, now storage is another story, it has become a nightmare........ thousands of minis and their cards are tough to organize and handle
Wow, that's a lot of mini's, are you a seller?
Another question: have you ever had the bad luck of still not pulling a complete set of a certain expansion with that much cases? (it is possible)
